| Grimmoloth05-01-07, 07:10 AM | I just found out that the PW can get a tail attack which, adds to his claw, bite and eventully four additional tentciles from form of doom, is there any other I'm missing? A VOP PW sounds sweet about now.... |
| Armoracia Rusticana05-01-07, 12:29 PM | Illithid feats from CPsy turn you into Illitid (spelling?). Yet you can easily outperform it - you have Expansion which works wonders in grapple. Wonders, I tell you. It is almost a good idea for whole build. |
| InkBlot05-01-07, 01:01 PM | I can't think of anything that would add another natural attack, but don't forget about hammer. Hammer adds +1d8 damage to all your natural attacks for the duration, because you can deliver the charge with natural attacks. Holding The Charge: If you don’t discharge the spell in the round when you cast the spell, you can hold the discharge of the spell (hold the charge) indefinitely. ... Alternatively, you may make a normal unarmed attack (or an attack with a natural weapon) while holding a charge. In this case, you aren’t considered armed and you provoke attacks of opportunity as normal for the attack. (If your unarmed attack or natural weapon attack doesn’t provoke attacks of opportunity, neither does this attack.) If the attack hits, you deal normal damage for your unarmed attack or natural weapon and the spell discharges. If the attack misses, you are still holding the charge. |
| Rusher05-01-07, 01:37 PM | Just remember that you can't make any other attacks in a round where you use Claws of the Beast. (as Stormwind mentioned in a similar thread) Some read this as no attacks before Claws in a round but that seems like a wild "stretch". Granted this may not be where the claw attacks are coming from in your case. For gaining extra attacks you can look to the feats like Defensive Throw and Robilar's Gambit. Psionic Charge seems like a must with all these attacks. Maybe take Quicken Power and breath some dragon breath too. Not exactly a natural attack but might fit your concept. |
| Kiklio05-01-07, 06:20 PM | Incarnum will help you get more attacks. This can be done best by multiclassing totemist. You can also take Shape Soulmeld (feat) and chakra bind feats and powers. I believe the soulmelds you'll want to look at are Sphinx Claws or Girallon Arms. They give you claw attacks that don't interfere with other natural attacks. Or you could play a thri-kreen. Four claw attacks there. |
| CrimsonDeath05-01-07, 08:03 PM | The Ardent power "Claws of Darkness" also lacks the text regarding making claw attacks at the same time as other natural attacks. Unfortunately, they do cold damage... |
