I DMing for a low level campain a evil party which contains a Psion [Telepath & Telekentic] and a Psychic Warrior. The Psychic Warrior was made to be a heavy hitter and at the very least a guard to his weaker conterpart. First I explain how he made his character; his character using a combantion of powers, mainly the two Claws of the Beast and Bite of the Wolf. Both roleplay their charcters to how they made them and choose their powers repectively. The Psychic Warrior made up a intresting power that he wanted to add to his list; Tail of the Wild (name in progress) which is exactly the same as the Bite of the Wolf but make the strength only 1/2 half. I'm wondering if this is too over powered or should the power have any special restrictions? Any thoughts on this would be apprecited.

You could base it off the draconic psionicist PrC in Dragon magic (iirc); I don't have the book with me at the moment but it might have been 1/2 strength.

The Eberron book Secrets of Sarlona has a Psychic Warrior power called tail of the dragon. It basically does exactly what you want; gives you a tail attack.

Claws of the beast have some unfortunate text about combinging the claws with other weapons. I would suggest ignoring it though ;)

So you are making a standard action power that lasts for 1minute/lvl, that deals d8+1/2 str damage with some bonus from levels in psychic warrior? I dont see any problem other than it takes a whole lot of setup time to get it.

I would suggest adding on an augmentation that allows for it to be manifested as a swift action and/or increasing the duration of the power.
