It says that 1/day it can manifest Vigor, then notes that it gets +15 hp from it, with a note under it saying "*Includes augmentation for the flesh harrower's manifester level." Does that mean that psi-like abilities are automatically augmented for higher manifester level, even though they don't take power points? Or is this just a unique case? |

| Bacris12-14-07, 09:11 PM | From the FAQ (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=638776): Psi-like Abilities Q: Do I have to spend power points to augment a psi-like ability? Can I spend power points to use one again? A: No on both counts. Psi-like abilities each have their own unique manifester level (in every case except the Pyrokineticist, these are explicitly stated in the psi-like ability description). Using a psi-like ability costs you no power points at all, and the effect is treated as if you had spent a number of points on it equal to ITS manifester level (note: not your manifester level, if any). Power points never factor in anywhere -- it's a special ability, not a power known. In the special case of a psi-like ability that has multiple augments (for instance, Kalashtar with their Mindlink ability), you choose how the psi-like ability is augmented as you use it (i.e. in the kalashtar's case, a 10th level kalashtar (Psi-like ML 5) can mindlink himself with up to 5 other willing people, or himself to one unwilling target, each time he uses the ability.) |
