05-21-07, 01:58 PM Hi, I hope I can ask here to see if I'm doing this all correct.

the relevant info;
psychic warrior level 10
feats overchannel / talented
items;
surge crystal magic item compendium pg 139
lets you increase manifester level depending on charges used.

now my question is,
can I stack overchannel and surge crystal to get an effective manifester level of 15?
this so I can manifest claws of the beast for 15 points.

second part of the question;
if the above works do I get;
claws 4d6
INA 6d6 (damage increase according to MM)
expansion 1 8d6 (damage increase according to DMG)
expansion 2 12d6 (damage increase according to DMG)

I did check king of smack and president, but wasn't sure after all that about the damage increase.
I couldn't find anything about the surge crystal.

Keep reading:

The benefit from a suge crystal doesn't stack with wild surge or the Overchannel feat.

05-21-07, 02:10 PM no idea why but I rechecked the description a few times now after your reply, but it doesn't say that restriction about stacking with overchannel, that's why i asked, is this a errata I missed?

3 charges: +2 manifester level.
5 charges: +3 manifester level.

..and then the quote I gave.

After words, it talkes about it being activated only after being worn continuously for 24 hours.

No errata ... my book.

(all off of "page 2" - it's not numbered, but it's the credits page ...)
