| Skogz04-21-07, 08:17 PM | I'm creating a psion for a campaign that subscribes to the idea of psionic/magic transparency. The DM allowed me to use the augment summoning feat, but i am stuck as to what to replace the prereq feat with. Any help would be great. |
| Deekin04-21-07, 08:22 PM | Augment Summoning = Boost Construct |
| Skogz04-21-07, 08:33 PM | The thing is the DM is going to allow both to be active, which means an extra menu selection and +4 to str and con |
| Tempest Stormwind04-21-07, 08:47 PM | There were similar feats in 3.0, actually (Augment Construction -- it was only a +1 bonus on attack/damage rolls and +1hp/HD, though, which is fundamentally the same as +2 Strength/+2 Con, if they had a Con score). They had *no* prerequisite there. Personally, I'd either use Psionic Endowment (the closest mechanically to Spell Focus: Conjuration) or Boost Construct itself (it's limited to a single power, not even a whole school). It's important to note that constructs have no Constitution, though. So barring houserules (which you're using anyway since *feats* are NOT transparent by default), Augment Summoning is similar to the Menu B option Muscle. |
