Wondering if anything has been done in regards of psionic reserve feats. Have I missed a thread? Has someone designed something similar?

Hallo!
In answer to your question, Moosh Nailo, I can only tell you that the XPH has quite a few: The psionic weapon/fist/shot type feats are the 'reserve-type' feats. As long as you meet the prerequisites, and you have at least 1 psionic power point left unspent, then you may use the feats all bloody day & night. This allows the psychics to add a small amount of damage to each successful attack (up to 1 x per round if you have psionic meditation, which allows you to regain you 'psionic focus' as a move action instead of as a full round action)!

I hope this answers your question and helps you be a more effective psionic pc.

Thank you, Kaleran1277

I think the OP is thinking of Psi-like abilities. The thing is, as long as you are not low on psp, psionic reserve feat will technically be available all day long. The same can't be said true for arcanists who has to make a choice whether or not to cast that spell of a certain level/use spell slot of a certain level. Given that, psionic reserve feats would have to be lesser version of their arcane counterpart to be balanced. But then, if the feats or lesser in power, they might not be worth taking at all.

Haha never thought of them like that, Kaleran. Thank you. While that basically ends any further questions I'd have, I'm still wondering if there isn't something more suitable for a psion-type, who'd really rather not rely on his base attack bonus.

Matter Agitation. No attack roll, no save.

Vorpo, that is exactly why I was wondering if someone else had created anything. I couldn't think of how to make something like this attractive without overpowering it.
The best I had was to sink a couple of pp into the feat at the beginning of the day (as the incarnum feats), and getting whatever ability at a not-so-great power level, but all day long.

There are very few "must have" powers that require attack rolls. At low levels, it's just energy ray, crystal shard, and entangling ectoplasm. At high levels it's just disintegrate. So don't worry about it.

Dreamscarred Press released a PDF titles Sequestral Feats which contains feats that act as reserve feats for psionicists.

Actually I would say that psionic shot and psionic weapon (as well as up the walls, and speed of thought) were the basis for making the reserve feats. They are abilities that one can utilize all day and night...as long as they can make the concentration checks. The reserve feats are somewhat stronger though. In that they don't require attack rolls, and as long as you keep a spell 'in reserve' you can blow stuff up all day and night. The pyrokineticist is the only one who can rival the firey doom that can be laid out by a wizard with fiery burst.
