| 3DJutsu10-01-07, 01:47 AM | http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/secondChance.htm Wording conflict between duration and text. Can I use it once a round or just once period? |
| Scion of Coldshard10-01-07, 01:57 AM | Once per round. At 9th manifester level you could get somewhere around 9 rerolls out of it. Technically, it isnt a wording conflict, it is merely that the text does not specify a condition wherein the power would be discharged ;) In a way most spells and powers could have the same text, it would just be useless, as it is here. |
| deathbane10-01-07, 03:09 AM | Duration:1 round/level or until discharged First thought: I read it as you activate the power and it stays active until the duration runs out or you use it. They just never stated the discharge. Second thought: Maybe you can use it every round, but then what is the discharge and with this foreknowledge you gain the ability to reroll one attack roll, one saving throw, one ability check, or one skill check each round. Discharge: Occasionally a power lasts for a set duration or until triggered or discharged. This may have a worse description than ebon eyes |

| 3DJutsu10-01-07, 11:25 AM | Right, Ima just say it 'discharges' once a round and it becomes inert until next round. |
| deathbane10-02-07, 10:14 PM | Right, Ima just say it 'discharges' once a round and it becomes inert until next round. I got an answer from customer service. The discharge was a mistake so the way you figure it figured here is correct. |
| AntiDjinn10-03-07, 02:40 AM | That answer has been consistent. It isn't a wording conflict so much as an error (probably from a version of the power that was discharged by use, changed at some point in development) that slipped through the editing process. |
