I just purchased the book yesterday, and was wondering if anyone shared my opinion of the amount of psionic content. What I mean is, we got 1 prc, magic got 0. We got a couple feats, I didn't see any for magic. We got about the same amount of powers as there where spells. I haven't seriously delved into the items, though.

Yeah, there was a big discussion the days before and after it came out. Definitely a step in the right direction. Keith even came on the boards and gave some insight and some alternate character options from previous Eberron books. :)

Here is the original thread from earlier in March. Thinking back, I can only say that Keith is the crown prince of Psionics while Bruce Cordell is the king, even with Complete Psionic.

I read the book, but my group is not using Eberron so at most I will only lift a few bits of the material. If you are running an Eberron game then only the DM should be reading this book (you can give out a few bits of info and the 5 things every X knows sections). The land and its people are insular so unless your PC's actually come from Sarlona they should not go in with anything more than rumors and very basic information. A kalashtar refugee would know about Adar and maybe Syrkarn and would know the nature of the Inspired, the Chosen, and the Quori, but would still have no idea what is going on in Riedra. No one else from Khorvaire should have a fraction of this knowledge at the onset. Although many in Khorvaire suspect the Inspired have an agenda, if they actually knew the scope of the Dreaming Dark's plan and how far the infiltration has alread progressed there would be more than a few pirate and diplomatic ships sailing for Sarlona.
