What i mean is if i was to shape it in the the bastard sword would it still have the 19-20 crit range?.

The Crit Range of each weapon is the same: Short Sword, Longsword, Bastard sword have same Crit range. Did you check the PHB before asking this?
Legdiwena 04-03-08, 03:05 PM	Don't all swords have 19-20/x2? Note: I consider rapiers, scimitars, and falchions to be a different class of weapon than swords.
