07-11-07, 07:15 PM Can a soulknife shape his weapon to things besides what is listed? Like quarterstaff, kama, scythe, sai, shurikens if thrown, etc...

07-11-07, 07:20 PM Nope. There's some feats in Complete Psionic to add a few choices, but that's about it. ((There's some 3rd party ways of doing it too, including some in Untapped Potential.))

If you try to give your mindblade to a wizard to get flaming put on it, the wizard will give you a funny look and tell you to stop fooling around. A mindblade can't be seperated from you long enough to enhance it. Even if it could, you can't enhanced it because a mindblade is not a masterwork weapon.

07-12-07, 10:16 AM The rules do not suggest it, but why not?? C'mon, it's not that big a deal. You just rule that Bastard Sword is the maximum damage, but apart from that, he can form and shape it any which way but loose! And if he gets an 18-20 on crit chance, that's okay too. It doesn't wildly unbalance the game even if the player is a power player...

It has a lot of other good feats as well. Check it out if you can.

Reshape Mind Blade (Psionic)

Dragon #341
Prereq: BAB +4, Ability to form a mind blade, shape mind blade
Bonus: Choose any simple, martial or exotic weapon with which you are proficent. Your mind blade can take on a form identical to the chosen weapon with all that weapons statistics: damage, threat range, etc, including special features like bonuses to trip and the like. Reshaping the mind blade is a full round action. You can also manifest your mind blade in this shape.
Special: May be taken multiple times, each time it applies to a new weapon type.

Is the feat from the dragon mag.
