I've noticed the Share Soulmeld feat allows you to share effects with any type of "companion" creature so why not a psicrystal? I mean it is a part of you, so shouldn't that mean it has part of your soul?

It certainly has a part of your mind. Share Soulmeld works on familiars, companions, and special mounts. Psicrystals have "Share Powers", which is functionally equivalent to "Share Spells", so I'd allow it. Unfortunately, since the feat doesn't specifically mention psicrystals, you're in "Ask your DM" territory...

Logically, it should work.

Why, myself of course.

...*insert random "playing with myself" joke*
