I'm a DM allowing psionics, even if I don't truly know them well: just treating them like another kiind of magic. Up for now, my player showed enough maturity to allow him my trust.

But as even he is not sure about this rules question, I'm posting them here: does the mentioned combination allow you to transfer the control of your body to the psi-crystal, in order to make a full-round attack, and a full-round of mental actions each round?

That is not over the edge for me, but it may lead to some ugly tricks, as he can manifest schism and sincronocity, too.

Yeah, it is possible. Pretty expensive and time consuming to set up though for a short term benefit.

Make sure that you arent allowing synconicity to become broken though. There are ways to break it so be careful.

Other than that though, it shouldnt be much of a problem. A better plan is likely to just manifest schism and have it use control body on the psion directly ;)

Actually, you're still the manifester of Control Body, so you still make any decisions relevant to the power, such as what you make your body do. You just don't have to spend any actions on implementing those decisions, because the Psicrystal is concentrating on the power.

You might consider taking a look at the Concentration skill. Having one's body forced to engage in combat might be considered a degree of "violent motion" and require a Concentration check. Of course, if he's manifesting Control Body and Solicit Psicrystal, he can probably just tap those checks anyway.

Yes, the combo of Control Body + Solicit Psicrystal is legal. Its resource cost is fairly high: 7 points + 1 standard action (Control Body), 5 or more points + 1 swift action (Solicit Psicrystal) just to set the combo up (the benefit for this alone is using the character's Int mod in place of Str for combat) + the costs of whatever powers the character wants to use to take advantage of this combo.

Like all combos involving multiple steps, it is vulnerable to disruption. More than one power = opponents get multiple Psicraft checks to figure out what you are doing. A single Dispel, targeting the the psicrystal, can bring the whole shebang down (if Solicit ends, then the companion power ends, even if it would otherwise have duration remaining). Time Hop, targeting the crystal or the character, also busts the combo. If you are spending 12 or more points just to set up a combo, and an enemy psion is spending 5 to nerf, then the other guy is winning.

Note that as per the normal rules for concentrating on an active spell or power, your psicrystal must maintain line of effect to you and must stay within range of the power (medium, for Contol Body). This might also be exploited by opponents, though most psions would bypass this by keeping the pet rock on their person.
