I realize these answers may well be mutually exclusive. I'm primarily limited to WotC products, but have the full catalog to pull from. Third party stuff might be considered. Istarion 06-25-07, 06:45 PM	1) the fastest route is going Ardent(or Psion) 3/Totemist (or Incarnate) 2. 2) It depends of what do you want to do... On the psionic side, I would take psion over ardent, because as an ardent you'd have to burn your feats to gain access to more mantles, or take 2 more ardent levels to get your 4th mantle (though they get 9th level powers earlier). On psion disciplines, I find that shaper or egoist work the best. The first one uses a 1st level power mainly, so he can get by with the delayed power access, and the second synergises nicely with the totemist soulmelds. Notice that a telepath could also benefit from Illusion Veil, enhancing his DCs. On key feats: Midnight augmentation, Psionic meditation, practised manifester.
