goawayugh 04-25-07, 07:07 AM	Why is the returning ability on the list of abilities for mind arrows? That is supposed to be for thrown weapons. Does anyone know what ability was supposed the be there instead?
Cala, Legend Reborn 04-25-07, 08:17 AM	Nobody knows what the intention of that little mistake was... It's admittedly somewhat silly, but so was Invest Armor in that same book. A houserule I use is keen instead of returning. Simple, mirrors what the soulknife gets, and it's still a +1 ability. My :twocents:, make of it what you will.
goawayugh 04-25-07, 10:16 AM	You can't put keen on a bow. You can put it on arrows (50) but not a bow. It doesn't say that "Bows, crossbows, and slings so crafted bestow the keen ability upon their ammunition" like it does for other abilities (flaming, frost, holy, merciful, etc...)

goawayugh 04-25-07, 01:09 PM	You create mind arrows as a soulbow. The bolt is identical in all ways (except visually) to an arrow shot from a composite longbow. At first I took that to mean that your mind arrow ability was the same as a composite longbow. But after reading it again, I do see your point. All it keeps saying in the mind arrow description is that it is the same as arrows shot from a longbow. So......I guess keen would be ok.
eviloneinabox 05-04-07, 12:13 PM	Me and my dm houseruled that using mind cleave tree with the returning ability. So if I down a foe i can absorb the mental energy in the mind arrow. Besides that i have no idea what it is for....maybe if returning arrows did damage....
