Halaku 04-05-07, 10:49 PM	Afraid not, the soulknifes abilities are based purely on the soulknifes level, not on its manifester level, which it does have by the rules, though why I was never very sure on.
AntiDjinn 04-05-07, 11:17 PM	Can a soul knife take the feat? Sure. Will it do what you are asking? Absolutely not. The soul knife's abilities are based on soul knife class level, not on manifester level. This is a good thing because the class doesn't even have a manifester level. You also don't gain 4 manifester levels for taking the feat (adding to your zero to start) because the feat says: "Choose a manifesting class you possess. The powers you manifest from that class are more powerful" The soul knife does not possess manifester levels and does not use powers so the feat doesn't help. If you do take the feat absolutely nothing worthwhile happens to your character (except if you also have Psionic Body, in which case it gives you 2 more hit points) until you later take a level in a manifesting class. At that point you have a manifester level and can add up to +4 when manifesting power. It still does nothing at all for your soul knife abilities.

red_scare87 04-06-07, 03:45 AM	As others have said, no it doesn't. However, there is a feat in the third party supplement Untapped Potential which does the same thing called "Mind Blade Kensai". Untapped Potential can be found at the Dreamscarred Press website (http://www.dreamscarredpress.com).
