Is this generally a bad idea to rule that PrC's with progressing manifester levels add to the Soulknife's Mindblade enhancement bonus and special abilities? (Like keen etc...)

Thanks in advance!

No, generally I'd say it's a great idea which can also be found in Untapped Potential. As far as I heard, alot of people think that that one particular rule helped open up alot of PrCs for the generally weak Soulknife, giving it more options.

Then I'll make that a houserule. The Soulknife, as is, just seems a bit weak and limited. Each and every option you take, save a few (Kensai, Vow,...) gimp your character or are just there for very specific RP-concepts.

Yeah, most options do end poorly. Illumine Soul is actually just better in my opinion, even if you never fight undead; additional Psychic Strike die and Positive Energy Healing is a good trade for Multiple Throw. Pity you can't actually take Kensai, as that would've been really nice. Stupid Mindblade not actually being Masterwork.

Most DM's are sane enough to rule that, at least once it's a +1 weapon, it counts as masterwork. Even without that, hard to justify why unarmed strike would count and mindblade not.

Whats untapped potential? Where can I get it? That and that err... Hyper... Hyper... Something.

Hyperconscious, I think it is. Not sure, though...

Especially if you go into the Soulbow PrC as well, since at that point you don't care about Throw Mind Blade.
