Now, I haven't looked at Dak'kon's stuff very much, but the gist of it as I understand it is: made of chaos matter, increases in power as one levels, and varies in power and ability on mood. It seems to me that soulknife potentially could fit the bill, but I dunno. I suspect it could be emulated with SK and feats from DSP, but I figured I'd ask. |

I think DSP did a 3.5 update of ferroplasm but I don't have the book it's in. A soulknife would work, too. Dak'kon was the inspiration for the first soulknife I ever played, and I made the character's mindblade look like liquid metal. |

I'm thinking maybe something along the lines of the soulbound weapon (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20070214a) variant psychic warrior, except the school would change from psychoportation to metacreativity -- forging the weapon from chaos-stuff rather than calling it from elsewhere. Alternatively, perhaps a psychic weapon master (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040827d), substituting chaos matter for crystal. If this were combined with monk (using you-know-what feat from Secrets of Sarlona), a longsword as either the soulbound weapon or bonded weapon would be good with the whirling steel strike feat from ECS. |

I think a Psychic Weapon Master is your best bet. You can specify that chaos matter weapon is equivalent to deep crystal one for entering the class. Heh, Dak'kon as a fighter/psion or a fighter/ardent could work quite interestingly. |
