| Creatr03-17-08, 12:40 AM | I was wondering about telekinetic force and whether could be used to make someone fly (so long as the flying person makes the weight limit)? and at what speed? Also I wanted to know precisely what Saves and PR checks are involved with using Telekenetic Thrust to fire a ballista bolt (weighing 250lb) at a target. Does the the bolt have to make saves or does the targetted person make the checks? Assuming I have already made a tohit roll to hit the targetted person. Thanks in advance |
| Lycanthromancer03-17-08, 12:53 AM | Yes, you can use telekinetic force to fly, so long as you target something you're wearing. As for telekinetic thrust, the bolt makes the save (but only if it's an attended item or magical and intelligent), and it's the one you have to worry about PR on. You have to make a ranged attack roll to hit whatever you happen to be aiming for. |

| foxtail03-17-08, 03:25 PM | From the telekinetic force description, emphasis mine: You can move an object weighing no more than 250 pounds up to 20 feet per round. People aren't objects, unless they're dead. You could target their clothes or their armor, or something they're carrying and lift them along with it, but it would be awkward at best. |

Thanks in advance 1) As indicated, you'll need something suitable to support yourself (say, a climbing harness) and target that to "fly" at 20' / round. Extend power or feather fall useful at this point. 2) are basllista bolts treated as ammo? If so, they might break after use. What about packing battering rams? (w/ permi-shrink, for storage, if you can). |
