While reading over the description i couldn't make a judgment call on how to apply magical or psionic weapon damage. You must succeed on ranged attack rolls (one per creature or object thrown) to hit the target of the hurled items with the items, applying your Intelligence modifier to the attack roll instead of your Dexterity modifier. Hurled weapons deal their standard damage (your Strength bonus does not apply; arrows or bolts deal damage as daggers of their size when used in this manner). Does standard damage mean just damage from the mundane aspects of the weapon or do special abilities that add damage also count? For example would a flaming sword deal the fire damage? Also, would standard damage include some of the special abilities that aren't normal "hit point" damage? Such as a soulbreaker scimitar giving a negative level on a critical hit... |

IMO, however, you would get the extra effects. It's cheaper, however, to use Bolt or a similar to create free ammunition, which can then be shot en masse. It works especially well if your DM permits the use of Offensive Prescience, which allows for a bonus to be applied to each projectile. |

I would generally give you any intrinsic bonuses of the weapon (plusses to damage, silver, cold iron, etc.) which is anything that is basically always on. Effects such as a flaming weapon are trickier; such a weapon does not normally flame when not being held. The owner of such a weapon can not make it burst into flame from a distance, even with the command word. So it probably flames off when it leaves your hand. Compare this power to the spell Whirling Blade which specifies that each attack is resolved as though you wielded the blade in melee, not as a ranged attack. For that spell all effects that would apply if you actually walked up and struck the opponent apply. |
