Just a quick question that I think I already have the answer to.

Time Hop allows a living target to make a Wisdom check to return early before the duration expires. An object that has been Time Hopped does not get that option since it has no Wisdom stat, correct? It just needs to make the initial Will Save, correct?

Thanks to any who can help!

Unattended mundane objects don't even get a saving throw. See page 62 of the XPH under (object). If the item is psionic (or magic if you are using transparency) then it gets a save mod of 2 + 1/2 of manifester level.

So if you Time Hop a normal chair that is not in contact with anyone it automatically hops out (no dice rolled).

If you attempt to Time Hop a chair that someone is sitting in, that person gets a Will save to avoid the minor fall.

If you attempt to Time Hop a ladder that 3 people are currently climbing then each gets a Will save (they are all touching the object so it is multiply attended) to avoid the ladder hopping out.

Once an object is hopped out by itself then it is unattended for the duration of the power and so does not get saving throws of any kind unless it has a special nature that would entitle it to such.

Intelligent items are another matter altogether, and might as well be a creature for this effect (though their save can be overridden by their wielder, if any).

Intelligent items can actually be considered creatures because they have Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. Treat them as constructs.

this conveniently also makes them immune to being disjuncted.
