So this is supposed to be a seer/nomad hybrid, but my original name (time sling) doesn't feel right. Any thoughts? Once it has an awesome name I can write flavor stuff to go with it and put it up for p.e.a.c.h. Thanks a bunch
guys.

Requirements
Skills-Concentration 8 ranks
Feats-Improved Initiative
Psionics- The ability to manifest the power Time Hop.

Class Skills
Autohypnosis, Balance, Concentration, Escape Artist, Listen, Profession, Psicraft, Spot, and Tumble.

Skill Points at Each Level
4 + Int Modifier

Weapon and Armor Proficiency
~ gain no new proficiency in weapons or armor

Defensive Precognition
The ~ is instinctively aware of the very near future, almost as if their sense of the present is expanded by an additional second. At 1st level the ~ is treated as being permanently under the effects of the Defensive Precognition power. This translates into a +1 insight bonus to AC and all saving throws. At 5th level, this bonus increases to +2 and at 9th level the bonus is +3. This ability does not prevent the ~ from manifesting the Defensive Precognition power as normal. All insight bonuses granted by this ability stack with the insight bonus granted by the Defensive Precognition power.

Adept
At 2nd level the ~begins to gain mastery of their signature power. Whenever using the Time Hop power, the subject moves forward in time any number of rounds of the ~'s choice, up to a limit of one round per level. This replaces the original power duration of 1 round/level. The DC for an unwilling subject to return from a Time Hop is now 18.

Extend Power
The ~ develops the ability to stretch his powers over a greater length of time. At 3rd level the Time Sling gains Extend Power as a bonus feat.

Uncanny Dodge
Starting at 4th level, a ~ can react to danger before her senses would normally allow her to do so. She retains her Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) even if she is caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. However, she still loses her Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized.
If a ~ already has uncanny dodge from a different class she automatically gains improved uncanny dodge instead.

Savant
At 6th level, the ~’s ability to use the Time Hop power increases. Time Hop is now treated as having a range of Medium (100 feet + 10 feet / manifester level) instead of short. The DC for an unwilling subject to return from a Time Hop is now 20.

Delay Power
At 7th level ~ learns to affect the near future with his psychic powers. He gains Delay Power as a bonus feat.

Improved Uncanny Dodge
A ~ of 8th level or higher can no longer be flanked.

Master
The ~ has mastered his signature power. He may now manifest the Time Hope power as a swift action. The DC for an Unwilling subject to return from a Time Hop is now 22.

This needs more manifester levels. 5/10 progression PrCs are pretty much not based on actually trying to cast/manifest, which belies the purpose of this class.

Noticed that Time Hop has no augment to increase the save DC? Perhaps you could grant this ability at one of the levels. Perhaps 2nd level, considering that the first "benefit" does precisely nothing. (It changes the duration from one round per level to, well, one round per level.)

The second half of each "time hop upgrade" is an increase in save DC. The DC starts at 15 (basic power) and ends up being 22. Should it be augmented instead?

The original power reads: The subject of the power hops forward in time 1 round for every manifester level you have.

At second level, you gain the ability to adjust this as you see fit, up to your manifester level. Is this not enough of? How can i get this idea across better. Last time i posted a version of this, i got the same comment.

I will add menifester levels though. thanks.

o by the way....any name suggestions?

Perhaps the "Adept" class feature should say that the subject "moves forward in time any number of rounds of the ~'s choice, up to a limit of one round per level".

Unfortunately, I can't see how useful this ability would be.

The second half of each "time hop upgrade" is an increase in save DC. The DC starts at 15 (basic power) and ends up being 22. Should it be augmented instead? You are thinking of the Wisdom check DC to break out of the effect prematurely after you've been affected by it. I was referring to the Will save DC of the power to negate the effect entirely. The original power reads: The subject of the power hops forward in time 1 round for every manifester level you have.

At second level, you gain the ability to adjust this as you see fit, up to your manifester level. Is this not enough of? How can i get this idea across better. Last time i posted a version of this, i got the same comment.I see. Something like this: "When using the Time Hop power, the anachronist gains the ability to shorten the effective duration of the power. Instead of sending the target forward in time for a duration equal to one round per level, he may send the target forward in time for a a duration of at most one round per level. As such, if his manifester level is 5, he may choose to send the target forward in time for a number of rounds between 1 and 5 rather than for a static value of 5 rounds." Go with what CrimsonDeath said. It's more succint.o by the way....any name suggestions? As above, the Anachronist.

My thought was that eventually you can time hop someone forward just enough to avoid damage/nasty effect, but allow for an early return without waiting around for them to return after 10 rounds or so. Also another thing that comes to mind is if your running away from a horde, you can time hop a locked door thats in your way, for just one round instead of 10, so that no one can follow you. Is there a better way to get this idea across?

Names I like so far (some of them change the theme a bit)

Time Trapper- 'trap' a few enemies at a time (in time) and then pick them off one at a time as they return. Amazing for bounty hunters who want to keep there prey locked up for a while.

Temporal Bandit- Pick Pocket, then send victim into the future, so you have time to escape. Suspend an item from someones person, wait around for it to return. Get rid of locks, traps, and other barriers just long enough...

Quantum Leaper- someone who focuses on themselves. May add a version of 'Blink' to the theme.

Quantum Shunt- someone who focuses on expelling other people/objects.

was thinking about it, and i really like the idea of adding an augment to time hop to increase will dc and the wisdom roll.

something like:

Adept
At 2nd level the ~begins to gain mastery of their signature power. Whenever using the Time Hop power, the subject moves forward in time any number of rounds of the ~'s choice, up to a limit of one round per level. This replaces the original power duration of 1 round/level. In addition to the normal augments for this power, you can augment Time Hop in the following way: For every 1 additional power point you spend, you can add 1 to the DC of the Wisdom check that will allow the subject to return. For every 2 additional power points you spent, this power’s save DC increases by 1.

btw, what's the reasoning behind the medium base attack bonus?

also, cool story about using time hop once with a time-based psion of mine and my friend who was playing a goliath barbarian:

we were in a underground cave with a single tunnel leading to it, fighting some really big naga we were definately too weak to be fighting. the only support in the cave was a central pillar stalagmite/tite thing. after a sonic bolt and a couple of hits on the pillar that my friend with the adamantine goliath hammer had done, the cave started to collapse. big snake thing grapples my buddy and gives some dying speech about taking my friend out with him if he's to die in the collapse (the thing couldn't leave the room for some reason, i forget). anyway, come next round, when the room is about to give and crush my bud and the snake, i retreat to the tunnel, time hop my friend and the cave collapses. the goliath comes back a few rounds later, unscathed, in the tunnel next to me, dust still billowing. needless to say, something nifty about time hop:

"If the space from which the subject departed is occupied upon his return to the time stream, he appears in the closest unoccupied space, still in his original orientation. Determine the closest space randomly if necessary."

I began this project using the Elocater as my inspiration.
I wanted a combat trick oriented class.

I agree that Anochronist doesn't roll of the tongue. I like Temporal Stalker, but I think it sounds like it should be the prestige class for a Ranger or Soalknife. A version that grants Track, and uses for the Sensitivity to Psychic Impressions power would be sweet. I'm looking for more of a roguish oracle, who has impressions of the future, but mostly because he sends people/objects/himself there.

I'm really thinking about playing up the oracle aspect of this class. Think of River from Firefly.
