I do not know whether this would be better in the classes forum or here. I will put it here: Two PrC, which use the build of the Elocater and the Shadowmind, but are better for the combat oriented rog/psi build.

This is my first PrC, please review it (P.E.A.C.H.)

Fluff:

After a long war, during which many powerful members of the established knighthood orders and the wizard guilds had been killed, one of the war heroes founded a new order. The war hero himself educated many of the gifted people of the city. He taught a very effective style to blend fighting with the mind magic he had mastered.

The Knights of the Keen Mind are an order of warriors, who are sworn loyal to the kingdom. They protect the kingdom with their blades, mind, and their lives.

Their founder had been a powerful rogue and psion, who was an archer and mobile fencer. He taught his fighting styles to many students, before he disappeared on one of the dangerous missions for the kingdom.

There are two fighting styles he taught, the Deadeye Bowman and the Keen Mind. Both are open to members of the Knights only.

PrC: Knight of the Keen Mind

Prerequisites:
Feats: Psionic Weapon, Weapon Focus with one of the following weapons: dagger (any kind), long- or short sword, scimitar, or rapier.
Skills: tumble 5 ranks, concentration 5 ranks, bluff 5 ranks
Special: Precision based damage of 1d6 from skirmish, sneak attack or sudden strike class features. Must have a manifester level of 1. Must be a member of the Knights of the Keen Mind.
BAB: +4
Alignment: Any Non-Evil

HD: d8
BAB: as psychic warrior or rogue (3/4)
Saves: good Reflex save
Skills: 4+INT / Lv.
Autohypnosis (Wis), Balance (Dex), Bluff (Cha), Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Disable Device (Int), Escape Artist (Dex), Gather Information (Cha), Hide (Dex), Jump (Str), Knowledge (local) (Int), Knowledge (psionics), Listen (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), Open Lock (Dex), Perform (Cha), Profession (Wis), Psicraft (Int), Search (Int), Sense Motive (Wis), Spot (Wis), Swim (Str), Tumble (Dex), and Use Rope (Dex).

Levels:
1: +1 ML
2: Bonus Feat: Weapon Finesse or Combat Expertise
3: +1 ML, sneak +1d6
4: +1 ML
5: Bonus Feat: Improved Initiative or Improved Feint
6:+ 1 ML, sneak +2d6
7: +1 ML
8: Bonus Feat: Improved Critical (on weapon with weapon focus) or Improved Disarm
9: +1 ML, sneak +3d6
10: +1 ML, Heartseeker

“+1 ML”: At every level indicated on the table, the character gains additional power points per day and access to new powers as if she had also gained a level in whatever manifesting class she belonged to before she added the prestige class. She does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (bonus feats, metapsionic or item creation feats, psicrystal special abilities, and so on). This essentially means that she adds the level of elocater to the level of whatever manifesting class the character has, then determines power points per day, powers known, and manifester level accordingly.

Sneak +1d6: At 3rd level the Knight of the Keen Mind gains the ability to deal sneak attack damage, if he/she does not already possess it. The ability stacks with the damage from other classes.

Bonus feats: At each level indicated on the table the character may choose between two feats. She must meet all requirements for the bonus feat chosen.

Heartseeker: At 10th level the character gets a +2 competence bonus to his bluff skill. Now he can feint as a swift action. He can do this once per day against each foe he encounters. In conjunction with sneak attack damage and psionic weapon, he can kill the mightiest foe with a single strike.
--------------------------------------------------

The PrC can be entered after Lv 6 (Rog 4/Psi 2 or PsyW 4/Rog2), if I get it right.

Is it too strong? +7 ML, +3 bonus feats, Heartseeker and +3d6 sneak is pretty much.

If I was a PC who was interested in Weapon Finesse, I'd take it at the beginning of my career, when it mattered most. That said, why not switch the above-mentioned feats with A. Bonus feats a Warblade may choose from, or B. Bonus feats a Fighter may choose from?

THAT said, I think giving 3 feats, +7 ML, and +3d6 damage is a bit much. That's the equivalent of 4 levels of fighter, 7 levels of psion, and 5 levels of rogue. Cramming all that into one PrC is ... a little unbalanced IMO.

Perhaps instead of +ML you could make it have a power progression similar to that of the Warmind?

I tried to imitate something akin to the elocater. This class offers:

· five feats or feat-like abilities (Sidestep Charge, Opportunist (+2/+4/+6), Flanker, Capr. Step and Dimension Door Spring Attack) (Capr. Step is HUGE)
· seven ML
· five additional powers or (SU) abilities (Scorn Earth, Dimension Door 1/day, Teleport, Plane Shift, Accelerated Action) (some very good powers, and cheap as dirt with this class)
· Two good saves
· 6+INT-bonus ranks/lv
· d6 HD
· Medium BAB.
The class requires three feats to enter (dodge, mobility, spring attack), which is a steep requirement.

My class offers:
· seven feats or feat-like abilities (three feats, three sneak-dice and Heartseeker) (perhaps slightly better)
· seven ML (same)
· No additional powers or (SU) abilities (worse)
· Only one good save (worse)
· 4+INT-bonus ranks/lv (worse)
· d8 HD (better)
· medium BAB (same)
The class requires two feats to enter (psionic weapon, wp. focus).

I think the classes are even.

Personally, I think my class is short on psionic flair. But this can be done with fluff and does not affect crunch.

But you are right, since the class is aimed to the PsyWar/Rog characters, it could be changed to the Warmind power progression, taking PsyWar powers only.
