Uncarnate & Concealing Amorpha [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-10-07, 09:48 PM I am wondering if a Psion Uncarnate can manifest Concealing Amorpha Greater and have a miss chance 50% and total concealment at the same time. Reading the entry for incorporal subtype, it doesn't specify that the miss chance is from concealment due to being incorporal.

So, basically you would be very, very blurry ghost, with a rippling membrane encasing your incorporal self, and someone having to roll over 50 % twice to be able to hit you.

11-10-07, 11:50 PM As I understand it two types of concealment don't stack they overlap. A similar example would be striking a foe under the effect of displacement while your both in the area of a darkness spell.

I would guess in this case it would stack together as incorporeal is not concealment. They'd roll vs the concealing amorpha then roll vs the the incorporeal effect.

Of course this is all moot if they aren't attacking with a weapon that has at least a +1 enchantment. *Note that a weapon counting as magic for DR does not let it strike incorporeal creatures.

That is what I was thinking. It is an idea I have for a build that has as many defenses as possible. Ostensibly two miss chances, then I am trying to optimize ways of getting the highest DR, fast healing, high AC, PR, HP, and saves. So I am messing around with a combination of powers and various templates from BoED.
