When my Erudite / Uncarnate character uses his Shed Body ability does his psi crystal become incorporeal as well?

Would the Share Powers ability enable my character’s psi crystal to become incorporeal when my character uses his Shed Body ability? Would my character need to use his Assume Equipment ability to make his Psi Crystal Incorporeal? Can he designate his psi crystal as one of his pieces of equipment that turns incorporeal with him when he uses his She Body ability? If the psi crystal is turned incorporeal with the shed body ability, does it need to stay on the character’s person in order to stay in corporal or can it fly about by itself?

any thoughts would be appreciated thank you.

Under the "Share Powers" entry in the XPH, it specifically states that the psicrystal can only share powers, not even psi-like abilities. I think this strongly implies that when you shed your body, your crystal doesn't, which I think is fitting, as well as potentially helpful in this case. Since a psicrystal is a fragment of it's creators mind, would it remain separate if it were no longer bound to a physical shell, or would it just kinda cram itself back into your (pseudophysical) skull? That's a question I'm just too lazy to answer. Plus, you could have the psicrystal do all the little things you can't do without a body, like turn the pages in a book, or push buttons. Or build stuff.

anyway, that's my :twocents:

While I'm inclined to agree that you don't get it auto-incorporeal, I would imagine using the assume equipment ability might allow for it.

Though DM discretion on the whole lose the ability if it moves more than 5ft from you.

Thank you both for your thoughts. Keeping the psi crystal solid to push buttons and turn pages is a great idea. I think the idea of using Assume Equitment to turn the Psi Crystal incorporeal along with my character's shed body ability seems to work. However I think i will simply decide that if I keep the Psi crystal on my characters person, it will be incorporeal, if it strays from his person it becomes corporeal.
Thank you again.
