| angellis_ater06-14-07, 10:21 AM | So, one of my players has approached me asking what happens if he takes Warmind 10 and then some class that advances his previous manifesting. I think it's a great idea and have allowed it, but I do have some smallish problems with determining power points and powers known. My conservative side first said "he gets bonus PP and higher ML, no more powers known or power points" but I've decided to atleast come here and see what kind of progressions you guys would think would be suitable. The character in question is a Khalashtar Fighter 4, (Quori) Slayer 1, Warmind 10 and is looking for what to take next. The character already has Practiced Manifester so it has an effective ML14 and 100 power points (WM70, Racial 15, Wis 14 bonus pp = 15). |

War Mind provides its own Manifesting progression and that is a 10 level progression; you cannot advance Warmind manifesting pre-Epic beyond level 10. Same thing with Ur Priest or Sublime Chord or Nenytar Hunter. Once you max out, you're done until Epic levels. My advice on what to take next is Warblade or something else from Tome of Battle. It should have great mechanical and thematic synergy with Warmind, and at your high level you can automatically take 4th level manuevers (assuming you meet the other prerequisites, usually low level maneuvers from the same school). |

When he gets to 12th level manifesting you can decide whether to give him acess to 6th level powers or just allow him to fill in all the other powers he missed. Just my 2 cps |
