"A wilder who is overcome by psychic enervation is dazed until the end of her next turn and loses a number of power points equal to her wilder level."

Should e something like twice the wild surge used? Its moe fitting and balanced... And what about the "a bonus to Armor Class against all touch attacks equal to her Charisma bonus; however, her touch AC can never exceed her Armor Class against normal attacks." What kind of semi useless ability is that? Isnīt enough with only 11 powers known?

There are multiple Wilder fixes on the boards; try using the search feature to find them. There is also one in the book "Untapped Potential" by the third party publisher Dreamscarred Press.

You should not diss the charisma bonus to armor class against touch attacks part, since touch AC is pathetically low in the game for anyone who isn't a monk, rogue, or someone who stuffs as much as possible into dex. And the upper limit equal to the wilder's normal AC isn't really that high if you were to, say, wildsurge Inertial Armor and Force Screen.

If you want simple: 3 x the Wild Surge bonus ..

If you want more in depth, tae Millenia's suggestion and search the boards, plenty of "fixes/remakes" around ...

The wilder variant in untapped potential is vastly improved, with much more useful abilities and an actual capstone ability at 20.

Their soulknife variant isn't bad either.

The only problem is you have to pay for Untapped no? And for those with money issues, or those who can't pay online due to reasons, then they can't really use it can they. >.>

You have to pay for all books, so I don't see that as a 'problem' so much as a fact of life.

As for being unable to pay for things online... well that has nothing at all to do with the book. Its something you'll have to work out on your own.

And seriously, if noone in your group can pay to buy a $9.95 book or use credit cards online how are you playing dnd at all? Someone has to buy those books. Sorry if that comes off as harsh, but the way you said "you have to pay for it" makes me think you're using pirated copies of books you obtained online.

While downloading things online is all well and good, we like to own stuff... Which doesn't help when you're on a benefit and getting very little money xD ESPECIALLY when you use the food budget to buy stuff >.> Which is a habit I honestly am trying to get out of xD

How I got mine? A while ago actually. I've had them for some time, just never had a chance to use them T-T I wasn't able to find a DM for aaaages. So yeah, back then, I was living with my olds, so money wasn't a problem. Now... T-T Well yeah. Besides... Need a credit card to buy stuff online... I refuse to touch one. I've been hoping to find SOMEONE who's bought the pdf stuff, so I can grab hold of them, but no one I know has them -.- And my DM refuses to touch anything none official, so definately can't get them off him.

And yeah... Complete Psionics was a birthday present... I tried to be all joyful about it and find all the good stuff, but now I'm not so happy -.-

Edit: Note to self... Don't let people buy you D&D stuff as a birthday present, even if they know just how much you want to play -.-;

Actually, you can get a bank/check card to use make online purchases now, and it's not a line of credit. All money used is from your own account, and you can use it in almost all ways you could use a normal credit card.

They're very handy. That's how I used to do online purchases of anything, using my handy dandy bank card. :)

My Wilder fix seems to have been purged in the last boards update (though the Soulknife one is still up). I'm pretty sure I can repost it. Now all I need to do is find that file.. (EDIT: Ah, seems it was archived here (http://boards1.wizards.com/wotc_archive/index.php/t-403159). This should be obvious, but each line in the progression chart (even the periods) is another level)

In any case, the central point of the fix was that Wild Surge is a flat 15% and you don't choose your bonus to manifestation level, the reasoning being that a) this is much simpler, and b) it's a wild surge, so why should you have so much control over it?

EDIT: Not that you shouldn't also get UT, 'cuz it's really a very good book. [/plug]
