| maiutanta03-22-07, 02:40 PM | okay my wilder just became a vampire. we are out in the desert heading towards town. (we are also playing an evil game) i have one person who i can kind of trust and if the other two found out i would most likely be killed. how should i proseed.. but my main question is how do i really regain power points. it says that i need eight hours of rest full sleep. |
| Tempest Stormwind03-22-07, 03:09 PM | The same way races that don't sleep do it -- eight hours of restful calm. Elves and elans only trance for four hours, but need eight hours of resful calm to recover spells or power points. |
| Knight003-22-07, 03:29 PM | your evil kill them and nick their stuff before they do it to you |
| SlanderPanic03-22-07, 03:51 PM | Either kill them or kill yourself. Given my anti-vampire bias, I'm leaning toward the latter. In-character only, of course. The nice thing about desert travel, from a vampire's perspective, is that you usually move around at night. |
| Doomed_Penguin03-22-07, 08:56 PM | Does that make you immune to the retribution effect of Wild Surge? I'm too lazy to check. You're a vampire, if you're smart you pretty much can't be killed. Just study the MM entry in depth, and if you have access to libris mortis, read some of the sample campaigns that have vampires as the BBEG, they'll give you some good advice. If you're evil, just look at some of the villians in bond movies, then overanalyze them and figure out why they sucked, then do what they should have done. And make sure you read the Order of the Stick webcomic, it has a lot of good points about undead and D&D in general. |
