| PhantomTrain10-18-07, 02:40 PM | I may be asking for more than I can possibly get, but does anyone know of a Fey race with a 0 level adjustment that does not have a negative to Str? This combination may be a touch absurd, I know, but sometimes fluff and crunch need to be...finessed to work together. Thanks. |
| VorpalBunny10-18-07, 02:54 PM | Killoren, from ROTW, nature-avenging fey. Favored Class Druid. Kinda neat. There's also the race from Magic of Incarnum, can't remember what they get though. VB :) |
| jradd77710-19-07, 11:00 PM | There's also the race from Magic of Incarnum, can't remember what they get though. VB :) It's called Duskling, it gets +2 CON, -2 INT and it's other racial abilities. It's a pretty interesting race. A few weeks ago someone else posted asking abut LA +0 or +1, maybe check out that thread if you want even more options to check out. |
| sigma99910-19-07, 11:49 PM | In my sig is the Feybook project. While it's mostly 'unofficial', still worth checking out. Somewhere in it is a thread listing all Fey from previous publications. |
| Ieniemienie10-20-07, 05:03 AM | Maybe you can take the races in the Savage Progression (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20040213a) and not take any of the 'levels' that effectively make up its LA |
| zook1shoe66610-20-07, 11:22 AM | Maybe you can take the races in the Savage Progression (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20040213a) and not take any of the 'levels' that effectively make up its LA whats really the point? since you still have to advance all the way... i'd rather find a +0 LA race and keep the class levels that the other race would lose. |
| Taeldrin Laesrash10-20-07, 01:38 PM | I'll second Dusklings (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20050907a&page=2), they're pretty good even without incarnum. |
| zook1shoe66610-20-07, 02:08 PM | besides the Killoren and Duskling... they've got a +0 LA fey in Dragon#317 and Deities and Demigods. theres also a bunch of +1 LA fey around. |
| lord_xarallon10-21-07, 05:47 PM | Gruwaar from Dragon Magazine 317 p25 It can be found in the Crystal Keep (http://crystalkeep.com/d20/rules/DnD3.5Index-Races.pdf) |
| Levism8410-22-07, 06:30 PM | Monster Manual V has a LA +1 Fey that is freakin' neat. Gets immunity to enchantment spells and a couple other interesting abilities, including racial bonuses on some Charisma based skill checks (including all Perform checks). I forget the name though. ~Rain~ |
| risner10-23-07, 01:37 AM | Jermalaine (sp?) from MMII was errata'd to be LA+0 in the D&D 3.5 update. Faun from Deities and Demigods was also errata'd to be LA+0 in the D&D 3.5 update. |
| jradd77710-23-07, 02:12 AM | Jermalaine (sp?) from MMII was errata'd to be LA+0 in the D&D 3.5 update. Faun from Deities and Demigods was also errata'd to be LA+0 in the D&D 3.5 update. Can you help me out? Where are the races listed in Deities and Demigods? I can't seem to find them for some reason... EDIT: Nevermind, I found them... |
| DreamerInsane10-23-07, 10:15 AM | Jermalaine (sp?) from MMII was errata'd to be LA+0 in the D&D 3.5 update. Faun from Deities and Demigods was also errata'd to be LA+0 in the D&D 3.5 update. Jermlaine doesn't work. The OP asked for a race with no penalty to STR, and Jermlaine, well... |
