| Squirrel_Lord09-13-07, 08:36 PM | Alright. I have a DM who is very accepting of monster PCs, so I'm trying to use as many as I can. A few in the Fiend Folio seem very interesting, but it's a 3.0 book, so the stat adjustments are not neatly laid out like in the new books. He won't let me use them until I know exactly what I'm doing. Now, I remember hearing something about subtracting 10 or 11 (whichever gets you an even number) to get the stat adjustments. I would like to confirm that, or get the real system if I'm wrong. Also, I'm playing a mind flayer at the moment (which is tons of fun), and I just got a load of gold. My DM has the Magic Item Compendium, but I don't yet and I haven't had a chance to give it a thorough look-through yet. So if anyone knows of an item that increases grapple bonuses offhand, would you kindly tell me. It would make my life much easier. As a bonus, I hid a reference to a new and very good game in one of my questions. The first person to find it and tell me the game will get a cookie. Thank you in advance. Squirrel Lord. |
