5/8-fey. [Archive] - Wizards Community

I make him by combining feytouched and half-fey from this site: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20040213a

And what app bonus should he have for being half-fey feytouched. (I would give +2 for touched and +2 for half-fey making it +4).

1/2 shimmerling (fey)
1/4 petal (fey)
1/8 pixie (fey)
1/8 drow

I took all the stuff from each race that I liked/wanted and left on the table all the stuff I didn't want. I gave all the info to my DM and he computed my LA.

Anyway, so what exactly do you mean by "app bonus"?

Basically, to make this character the way I infer you're looking to do, I'd suggest beginning with Feytouched, which is a race in its own right, and then apply the Half-fey template to it. Of course, this creates a LA+3 character, so make sure that's what you want to do.

A little while ago I came across the dilemma of trying to create a fey-based character. I ended up making my own race-template crossbreed using some helpful hints from others. It ended up being easier to decide what sort of fey the parents/ancestors are, in order to custom-tailor the abilities and special traits/qualities. I included parts from the half-fey template, feytouched, nymph child, and unseelie template from Dragon Compendium, coming up with two variants which suit my needs now and in the future quite well. I get to play it tomorrow, so I'm hoping for the best!

That's exactly what I did.

App bonus is racial bonus for the appearance stat from BOEF. Since he's half nymph, I suggest +4. And I'll give him nymphkissed exalted feat (From BOED) and when he gets leadership feat, I'll try to take his nymph GF as cohort.

In faerūn, can these kind of characters have the mercantile background feat and come from Sembia or other region?
