I need some help creating a bulldogg race or a dog race variant. IM thinking a LA +1 and mod to str and cone with a neg to cha. Also scent and antural bite attack. Maybe the ability to run on all fours? Any help would be nice.

How about this:
[Bulldog]
+2 Str, +2 Con, +2 Wis, -2 Cha
Humanoid([bulldog])
30ft base land speed
Quadrupedal: When wearing light or no armor, carrying nothing in its hands, and using its hands for nothing else, a [bulldog] may move on all four limbs to gain +10' base movement. A [bulldog] does not, however, actually have four legs, and does not gain additional bonuses when using this racial ability.
Stability: [Bulldogs] gain a +4 bonus on ability checks made to resist being bull rushed or tripped when standing on the ground (but not when climbing, flying, riding, or otherwise not standing firmly on the ground).
Bite: 1d6 piercing, slashing, and bludgeoning
Scent: A [bulldog] can use the scent ability of a normal dog.
Level adjustment: +1

Sounds good. Have you guys ever seen the bulldog from the USMC?The cartoons of the muscle bound dog? Thats what I am going for here

You should remove Stabilty. Quadrapeds already have +4 to those same things, possibly replacing it with the Wolf's Trip ability.

For a little flavor you might add +2 to a skill or two and maybe define what kind of action(s) it takes to go from two legs to four or vice versa. Maybe a move action to return to two legs.

Um, it should be noted that the description of the "Quadrupedal" ability details all of its benefits. Namely, only one benefit: +10' speed in select circumstances. If a [bulldog] should decide to adopt the needed stance to gain the benefit, there is no provision given for increasing the +4 stability bonus to +8; none at all. Now, adding that provision would be possible, at which point removing the permanent +4 bonus would be sensible. This choice would be a downgrade in power, of course.

I've been thinking... if the scent ability is not entirely appropriate for this race (it's up to DeadEnough what is or isn't appropriate), then the speed bonus could even be bumped to +20' and the scent ability removed. Actual bulldogs, however, aren't especially speedy.

TRIP
You can try to trip an opponent as an unarmed melee attack. You can only trip an opponent who is one size category larger than you, the same size, or smaller.

Making a Trip Attack: Make an unarmed melee touch attack against your target. This provokes an attack of opportunity from your target as normal for unarmed attacks.

If your attack succeeds, make a Strength check opposed by the defender’s Dexterity or Strength check (whichever ability score has the higher modifier). A combatant gets a +4 bonus for every size category he is larger than Medium or a –4 penalty for every size category he is smaller than Medium. The defender gets a +4 bonus on his check if he has more than two legs or is otherwise more stable than a normal humanoid. If you win, you trip the defender. If you lose, the defender may immediately react and make a Strength check opposed by your Dexterity or Strength check to try to trip you.

Ciaran, he doesn't have more than 2 legs as a humanoid unless his racial description says so. So long as the "quadrupedal" ability says "limbs" instead of "legs" there should be no confusion.

Alright. I imagined it a different way. You have a better idea of the creature.
