10-25-07, 09:17 PM One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying Purple People Eater (OEOHFPPE for short)
*+2 Str, -2 Dex, -2 Wis, and -4 Cha. One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying Purple People Eaters are strong but also hideously terrifying creatures with no depth perception.
*Type: Aberration
*Size: Medium. OEOHFPPEs have a base land speed of 30 ft, plus a fly speed of 20 ft.
*Darkvision (up to 30 ft)
*Natural Armor: OEOHFPPEs have a scaly hide which gives them +2 to AC.
*Vulnerabilities: OEOHFPPEs must make a DC 15 Will save or spend 1d4 rounds eating flesh after killing a humanoid.
*Natural Attacks: 1d4 Bite attack and 1d6 gore attack.
* +2 to Intimidate checks against humanoids.
*Age, Height, and Weight randomization: as Male Half-Orcs.
*Languages: Infernal, Abyssal, and Undercommon. Bonus Languages: None.
*Favored Class: None
*LA: +1

Well, it was originally going to be an LA +1. We thought that might have been a bit harsh considering the stat penalties for some natural armor and attacks. We could bump it back up to an LA +1, but it's a tough call. It isn't exactly balanced either way.

I was thinking that at first, but y'know, bard is a really charisma-based class, and they kind of have a massive hit to charisma, so... they'd really suck as bards.
I think part of the flavor text is that ever since the great bard Sheb of Wooley paid the OEOHFPPEs a visit, they have all secretly wanted to be bards. Unfortunately, they can't play a single note on-key.

Doesn't hit die come from class?

And how do you see LA +2?
