LESSEROF2EVILS 03-16-07, 01:46 AM	What would be the ECL for the Air Elementals size small thru Huge? Is there a consistant level adjustment for the Air Elemental? OR Does the level adjustment for an Air Elemental increase, as it's size increases?

runestar 03-16-07, 08:03 AM	Medium sized air elemental has LA+4, for final ECL of 8(with its 4 elemental HD), as per unapproachable east. Large air elemental has LA+5, for final ECL of 13(with its 8 elemental HD), according to savage species(IIRC). Not sure for small or huge+
LESSEROF2EVILS 03-16-07, 08:48 PM	After looking at Savage Species; the Large Air Elemental Monster Class has 14 levels with 8 HD giving it a LA of +6. The Large Air Elemental reaches medium size at fourth level, and completes it 4HD advancement at sixth level. Giving it a LA of +2. What I'm not sure about though, is the difference in stats and feats between the Monster Class and the actual monster in the Monster Manual 3.0 or 3.5... Using Savage Species Appendix: Small Air Elemental LA +4 Medium Air Elemental LA +4 Large Air Elemental LA +6 Huge Air Elemental LA +6 (probably based on progress) Does this sound right? Why does Savage Species use different level adjustments for the Air Elemental Monster Class, and the standard Air Elementals from the Monster Manual? Any thoughts on what a Medium Air Elemental Monster Class would look like?
