| Tectorman10-20-07, 12:45 AM | Besides the Draconic Grafts and the Half-Golem template, how does an organic character (I'm not talking about Warforged or the components that they get) gain limbs other than they'd normally have (think FullMetal Alchemist or Bunnie Rabbot from Sonic)? Name, source, and general look, feel, and abilities are appreciated. |
| Krusk10-20-07, 01:08 AM | Half-golem is one way. It depends on the type of golem for the look and feel, but i think it was from MM2. It has iron, clay, flesh, and one other type. Basically the descriptions were a person with an arm made from one of those types of material. -away from books for the weekend sorry i cant help more.- I do know half-Iron golem looked very full metal alchemist, if you mean the younger of the two brothers. |
| CrimsonDeath10-20-07, 01:34 AM | There are also Undead, Deathless, and Fiendish grafts. There are Undead grafts in Libris Mortis, Fiendish grafts in Libris Mortis, and Deathless grafts in some Forgotten Realms book or another. Some of the various types of aberration grafts in Lords of Madness may be replacement limbs; I haven't looked in a while. There are also symbionts in Heroes of Horror, as well as some Eberron book or another, that I believe seem similar to replacement limbs. |

| Saiyamantis10-20-07, 11:22 PM | Magic of Eberron has construct grafts, including warforged arms and legs. In the same book is the renegade mastermaker, which grants you a mechanical hand and the ability to use warforged components. |
| snakeman83010-21-07, 04:54 PM | Lords of Madness has a few aberrant grafts of varying types (aboleth, illithid, silthilar). Illithids have burrowing claws as a graft, they go on the hands. Silthilar are the best grafts to have (from LoM), and one of them is Extended Legs. That will boost the land speed by 5 ft as well as having longer legs (very fun to put that on the same character that has the extended arms feat from the same book). |
| lord_xarallon10-21-07, 05:18 PM | And Fiend Folio have more fiendish crafts, but that is 3.0, but they could be converted to 3.5. |
| Krusk10-21-07, 08:07 PM | pale master from libris mortis has an undead graft class feature. You rip your arm off and attatch a skeletal one, its quite cool. |
