An amorph is a magically engineering creature created by mixing the blood of a wide variety of living creatures. An amorph has dull grey, featureless skin and hair.

Ability Scores: No Adjustment
Size: Medium
Speed: 30'
Special Abilities: DR 1/-, resistance to acid 1, cold 1, electricity 1, fire 1, sonic 1 (all 5 energy types), +1 resistance bonus to all saving throws, darkvision, 2 claw attacks (1d3), bite attack (1d2, at a -5 penalty during a full attack). Note that DR and resistances from multiple sources usually don't stack.
Mixed Blood: An amorph is treated the same as being a member of any living race (including monsterous races) for the purpose of special abilities, magic items, pre-requisites, etc. He is both susceptable to attacks that affect a certain race and able to use abilities, magic items and advance in classes that require a certain race. Rare races are not included, nor are non-living races such as undead, constructs, etc. This ability does not allow an amorph to mimic an alignment, class, or other non-racial characteristic.
Favored Class: Any
LA: +0

I figure he'll be good for players who want to try complicated things. I'm open to suggestions on generic monster special abilities to add, preferably without pushing him past LA 0. If you're confused about the DR/-, it's actually DR/magic, adamantine, cold iron and silver. But that would be nigh-impossible to defeat and I wanted to keep things simple. Comments?

I thought that the word amorph meant that it was a blob of slime that also has shapechanging ability. They should have a natural wild shaping ability, and keep some of the races abilities to keep with the mixed blood, but that would definately put the LA through the roof (almost as broken as the planar shepard too)

you could just give them the shapechanger type, otherwise they are practically vulnerable enough to earn a negative lvl adj.! Then gaian, i may be misinterpriting mixed blood there, so it could be worded better. :D

Also, as far as i knew, DR/- was unbypassable, and DR/ Magic, adamantine, cold iron and silver would mean that they are the things that bypass it. Also, IIRC, if something just says DR/ Adamantium, it is still bypassed by magic, so any DR is bypassed by magic unless it is specifically stated or DR/-. (could anyone more knowledgeable clarify that?)

DR/[Special material] is only bypassed by a weapon made of that material, or by a weapon that is somehow mimicking the material. A simple magic weapon won't bypass it.
Likewise, you don't need a magic weapon to bypass alignment-based damage reduction.
A magic weapon bypasses DR/magic. Thats it.

And, yes, on seeing the title, my first thought was a certain carbosilicate Amorph with a plasma cannon. :)

Add two claws that deal 1d3 damage and a +1 bonus on all saving throws?

Ooh that seems nice, I think I'll use it.

As for the DR, the weapon would have to be all 4 things at the same time to bypass the DR. That's usually impossible, but some classes let you treat your weapon as if it were made of 1 or more additional special materials. So I just made it the impassable DR/- to keep it simple. Now you see why? I already confused 1 person with the DR/magic, adamantine, cold iron and silver.

By "amorph" I meant formless, hence the grey featureless skin. I'm open to other names.

As for the downsides to mixed blood: He is the favored enemy for most rangers, he is vulnerable to most bane weapons and any attack that specifically hurts creatures with elf or orc blood also hurts him. I don't know what else you think it means, but it only means he is vulnerable to attacks that affect specific races. He doesn't gain the other weaknesses of these races. And on the flipside he could be an arcane archer + dwarven defender wielding an orc-only magic weapon.

If he is still underpowered I am leaning towards giving him a point of natural armor. But to those of you who underestimate AC, ask yourself this: Would it still be ok if I gave him a +1 to his AB instead??
