Just tell me what kind of creature it should be and what CR, then i'll do it with a total description, base abilities and maybe also illustrations. Anything goes! (almost anything, because I would never make a ridicolous race as a retarded squirrel fish-frog again (long story)). One last thing: I can handle about five requests at a time, since I've also made the same kind of post on the classes & prestige classes board.

They have bone potrusions (Or something like that) where their hair should be....Oh yeah, when they are born they are actually not alive yet, they have to go to their "Village elder" and get a sort of tatoo on their face, not only does this tatoo bring the newborn to life, but it also tells them what their place in society is(Basically, it could be anything, from the mark of the ruler, to the mark of the hunter, and so on)...... Ooo and I was thinking, Maybe the ritual to bring the child to life would actually be puting a little symbiotic creature in its head or something Add a little fluff and stuff and lets see what we can come up with... Random races: - Marilith like race with lower LA and HD. - Small Constructs(Modron/Warforged like?) - No arms ,mute,non psionic race(Beholder like?) - blind humanoids - Tank like race -One that have amazing sound powers - half planetouched half elemental low LA and big LA creatures

shadowsofwhite 03-02-07, 10:44 PM	These are ridiculous and unrealistic suggestions. The best I've seen is the one about the spider person. I'm thinking there should be an insect-like creature, four legs, two arms, chitin shell, good balance and stability. I might just make that myself.

I'm really into drama, and Techies have always been my heroes because they don't get recognize that often, so I wanted to make a race to honor them. I was thinking bonuses to craft skills, int bonus and cha minus, and dark vision (because techies do it in the dark!) LA preferably +0, but if you can't, then whatever.

Bosh_Vant 03-03-07, 06:12 PM	A plant based +0 race. Something that would be considered to be dual sexed. Ie like plants it can both pollinate other's and be pollinated itself, usually with the help of the wind or bees. It considers it self without gender and has issues determining the gender of other species. (And frankly doesn't see what the big deal is - frequently using the wrong pronouns.) Needs light and water to live for food but does not consume rations. as an underdark mirror of them - A +0 fungal based race. - again no gender and fungal like reproduction - it does need to consume to survive, has excelent underdark camoflage. Regenerates rapidly but is allegic to sunlight and damaged by bright light - it can not bear the sun for more than 10 minutes before dying (and is severly hampered when doing so. - Very uncharismatic and very strong.

Tanker01 03-09-07, 01:56 AM	I was thinking about creating a new race called Centaurpede. Basicly similar to a Centaur except having the lower body of a centipede instead of a horse. They would be either nocturnal or live in the underdark, have Darkvision to 60 ft., have movement of 30 with a climb speed of 15. Level adjustment +2 and AC of 15. They would be large monsterous humanoids and the alignment would usually be chaotic neutral. The exoskeleton that covers the lower portion of the body would continue up onto parts of the upper torso. No two Centaurpedes would have the same exoskeleton portions on the upper torso. Parts of the head could also be covered in the same way. The young are hatched from eggs and go through a papal/larval stage before becoming adults and joining the rest of the community. The favored class would be druid or ranger.

Closest to the gargoyle is the Golmoid in an old Dragon Magazine. Special: humans can buy an Elan Special Quality with 3 skill points at first level. Special:Kalashtar don't take the Elanish Naturally Psionic trait,instead they get one Elan's special Quality.
