Warforged have no magic immunities so when is states immune to disease does this reffer only to natural disease. Because if you can make undead warforged that would kick ass. Warforged have an organic substance that miimics blood so its possible for a vampire to feed on him. If it can bleed and die why can't it be come a vampire

Warforged are immune to normal disease and vulnerable to magical disease in the same way that paladins are immune to normal disease and vulnerable to magical disease.

Huzzah's circuitous answer, offered without evidence, is that warforged are immune to all forms of disease. I would tend to agree with him on this score, though unlike the paladin's ability, the warforged's immunity to disease doesn't mention that it includes immunity to supernatural and magical diseases.

Regarding warforged as undead, even if they could become undead (fluff in one of the Eberron books states that warforged cannot become undead by any known means), their vulnerability to disease (or lack thereof) is not an issue. Neither vampires nor any other form of undead are created through a disease (as far as I know), but rather through a supernatural ability to create spawn, a spell, or some other magical process.

Immunity to disease means blanket immunity to disease, both mundane and magical, regardless of its source.:)

If the warforged was not meant to be immune to magical disease, it would state that it is "immune to nonmagical disease". Beause it's immune to disease in general, that includes nonmagical and magical disease.

Warforged are constructs. Let me ask you if a robot could get sick *cough cough*. Constructs do not get sick.

Thank you for the responses. Could you imagine a warforged with a lychanthrope template. In theory if bit you could pass the Curse of Lychanthropy on to a warforge. It would just plain rock your warforged form grows artificial parts that allow you to change in to your other forms. Or just for the wierdness of it you actually change in to the flesh and blood version of that creature. The latter would really drive a warforge crazy wondering why he always full when he doesn't need to eat.

A warforged can't become a lycanthrope because the lycanthrope template can't be applied to living constructs. Several other templates are invalid for warforged for the same reason, although Half-Celestial/Dragon/Fiend all work, as does Dragonborn.

Ditto.

Though WotC has run a whole series of articles on the topic of ignoring template restrictions...

I'm sorry but this has to be said:

What you've never heard of a computer virus?

Again I'm sorry but it had to be done.

Ontopic: Warforged can't become vampires as they are neither humaniod nor monstrous humaniod the two types that the vampire template can be applied to. I suspect this is true of most other undead templates which are inapplicable to constructs

1) paladins are immune to ALL diseases
2) It would say immune to all diseases as it does in the Divine health text for the paladin class and therefore in is not immune to supernatural diseaes, also the living construct type did not exist when the monster manual was published therefore whether or not a warfoged can cotract lycanthropy is unclear.

(if its not in the official D&D Errata it doesn't count for :censored: )

Well, they're living corporeal creatures that, arguably, have a skeletal system, so skeletons and zombies would technically be allowed, were it not for the whole "no undead warforged" fluff, not to mention the general guideline of type progressions (constructs > undead).
