Kuros81 03-23-08, 06:15 PM	Hi, My DM has assigned my party with attacking the Arcane Brotherhood's Tower in Luskan. The relevant information is, it is infested with demons, so we get to Planar Ally devils for half-price. Since we are allies with an anti-demon faction of the Arcane Brotherhood, our main goal is to destroy the demons while disabling/neutralizing the other casters. My evil cleric is willing and able to cast: 3 Planar Ally (6th level) spells and 6 Lesser Planar Ally spells. That's 3 12HD maximums and 6 6HD maximums. I'm wondering what devils could be recommended for such an invasion? You do not have to stick to core MM devils, but neither of us has any other sources on devils.
Naderion 03-23-08, 06:43 PM	You could summon three Hamatulas with 12HD each and 6 barbazus with 6 HD each. Probably the stongest force you could assemble. Instead of Hamatulas, you could also summon an erinyes, which can fly and has ranged attacks. Or a Hellcat, which is practically invisible.

That's what I had planned: 2 Hamatulas, an Erinyes and an imp, 5 barbazus and two more imps. The DM loves to give imps Spellcraft and Use Magic Device, so we're thinking of arming the imps with mage armor, shield, and cure light scrolls.
