| mtrpcic03-29-07, 01:39 AM | I'm making a new ninja. So far I'm thinking Human, for the extra feat, but is there any that give bonuses to DEX and WIS? Any that do so as WELL as give a bonus feat? |
| FrostHammer03-29-07, 01:51 AM | Which book contains the Ninja? I'll need to know more about the class before I can answer, but from instinct, Catfolk probably would do well. |
| Mrloki03-29-07, 01:56 AM | Ninja is from complete adventuer. And ya, catfolk ninjas rule. And so do shifter ninjas! Anthromorphic monkey ninja! |
| CowMasterTrojan03-29-07, 02:00 AM | If you have access to libris mortis, and are starting at level 3 or higher, it works out nicely to be a necropolitan. |
| mtrpcic03-29-07, 02:09 AM | If you have access to libris mortis, and are starting at level 3 or higher, it works out nicely to be a necropolitan. I'm starting at level 5, but I don't see any real advantage to playing this. It doesn't seem "ninja" at all. |
| CowMasterTrojan03-29-07, 02:24 AM | I'm starting at level 5, but I don't see any real advantage to playing this. It doesn't seem "ninja" at all. Well necropolitians are supposed to hide their undead identity, and to me that just seems to work well with ninjas. Also, for only a level loss, you become immune to lots of things such as crits, and you get a d12 for hp. Thats pretty sweet considering with the CR system you can gain it back. But in all fairness, I forgot the important part. You then add the dark creature template. Making you much more sneaky than you were to start out with. |
| FrostHammer03-29-07, 02:36 AM | Here's the reason you should play a catfolk ninja :p (semi-kidding) http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/2758/nekoninja2uz4.jpg |
| mtrpcic03-29-07, 02:44 AM | what book is catfolk in? |
| WinterPsionic03-29-07, 11:58 AM | Races of the Wild I believe... |
| feraltibbit03-29-07, 12:33 PM | I'm making a new ninja. So far I'm thinking Human, for the extra feat, but is there any that give bonuses to DEX and WIS? Any that do so as WELL as give a bonus feat? Try Wererat, Werebat, or Weretiger. Any of the small or tiny races would be great for that quick AC boost. |
| JesterZero03-29-07, 02:08 PM | I'm fairly surprised that no one has mentioned Whisper Gnomes yet. +2 Dex/Con, -2 Str/Con, small size but they have 30' movement, lowlight vision and darkvision, bonus to spot checks, and several innate magical abilities that simply reek of ninja-ness (ghost sound, mage hand, message, silence, etc.). Plus their Silencing Strike racial feat is quite nice to boot. All this for no LA. I think it's already been mentioned as well, but any race with any combination of the Shadow, Shadow-Walker, or Dark templates would be very "ninja" as well. Catfolk are a fun and good race, but in my humble opinion they make better scouts/blitz attackers than they do rogues. I freely admit that's largely personal preference though. :P But for the +1 LA, I'd take a whisper gnome with the dark or shadow-walker template over a catfolk for a ninja character. |
| Chimaera200003-29-07, 02:14 PM | Agreed on whisper gnomes (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20040807a&page=3). There's very little competition. |
| Shado03-29-07, 02:33 PM | I second the Whisper Gnome vote. Freakin' +8 to Hide before DEX mod. Add the Dark template to it and you're at +16 to Hide before ranks and DEX, and you have Hide in Plain Sight.... what could be more Ninja? |
| Ivelios203-29-07, 04:06 PM | in which book is the dark template? |
| mtrpcic03-29-07, 04:48 PM | same question as above |
| Melpomene03-29-07, 04:59 PM | You could also play up the mobility skills with a race like Xeph, Half-Orc (high strength for climb, jump, and swim), or the like. Being able to move in quickly and from an odd angle of attack for the hit and then move away is very useful for a ninja. |
| Spikes01k03-29-07, 05:05 PM | in which book is the dark template? Tomb of Magic and Manual of the Planes, there are two different versions I think. |
| Isomer03-29-07, 06:12 PM | i know it might be seen as overly smiple, but halflings nature abilities play nice to the ninja's strengths. They are small sized, have a dex bonus, plus racial bonus's to jump, climb, and move silently. |
| Darth Sephiroth03-29-07, 07:09 PM | Halflings are pretty good with their bonus to thrown weapons if you want to use Shuriken. I think the subrace with the bonus feat would make it even better. The Shadow-bound template is a nice +1 LA template to use although it has a few penalties to be careful with. There is the Shadow Creature Template in the Manual of the Planes and the Dark Creature in Tome of Magic |
| snakebliskan03-29-07, 10:34 PM | I had a githzari ninja with +6 dex and +2 wis dont forget the inertial armor and spell resistance of 5 plus your lvl and darkvision the only possible down side is the la +2 |
| enygmatic_me03-29-07, 10:38 PM | I would go either Whisper Gnome or Strongheart Halfling. Strongheart Halflings lose the bonus to saves but gain a bonus feat like humans. |
| Bard_Of_Knowlage03-29-07, 10:40 PM | I think halflings are the best way to go for ninjas they get the bonus to dex, hide, listen, and more. I think they are a great ninja class. |
| RorixBladewing03-29-07, 10:42 PM | Xephs make surpisingly good ninja due to their access to psionic feats. Things like Speed of Thought for an extra +10 ft, mental Leap for some truly ninja antics, and, of course, the ever awesome Up the Walls. Few other races can let you run on walls. Their natural bonus to Dex and Boost ability is great to. I'd reccomend Whisper Gnomes if you want stealth orientation, Xephs if you want mobility orientation. |
| JulesCARV03-29-07, 10:48 PM | Goblins are good, even if they aren't as powerful as whisper gnomes. |
| KurenaiYami03-30-07, 04:26 AM | Kobolds. +1 Natural Armor, +1 Size bonus to attack and defense but still have the 30 foot base land speed, and a bonus to Dex. |
| Spikes01k03-30-07, 07:52 AM | Here is an idea, Were Cheetah! You can be inflicted to reduce the LA, you get an insane +8 dex, +6 str, +4 con, and +2 wis with 2 alternate forms which adds +20 disguise skill, scent, and most importantly sprint! Combining sprint with your enhanced ninja leaping ability is incredible! Check it out. |
| The_Shaman03-30-07, 03:55 PM | Githzerai fan here. I think it's a frighteningly good class for ninjas, for the following reasons: - ability adjustments: okay, -2 to int is not nice; you probably won't be the party skillmonkey. However, the +6 to dexterity is great (initiative, dex-oriented skills, AC, ranged attacks, etc), and I believe the +2 wisdom won't hurt much, either. For a class without armor or great HD, +4 AC right off the bat isn't too bad. You will have less HP than others, but you sure won't be easy to hit. - naturally psionic: not much in itself, but it's always cool to be able to walk on walls, and the other psionic feats can be quite fun, too. Expending psionic focus to resolve an attack as a touch attack... Hmm, not bad, when you're actually trying to catch your foes flat-footed as well. - psi-like abilities: the good stuff. According to CustServ, the racial psi-likes augment automatically. Now, given that ninjas tend to dislike physical armors, auto-augmented inertial armor is so sweet it can give you cavities - yeah, you get it on top of your ability adjustments. Psionic Daze, unlike the magical version, can affect creatures with more HD if augmented, and concussion blast is a nice offensive option (force damage, ethereal targets/you, need I say more?). Catfall is also useful at times, although it's better not to have to use it. - Spell/Power resistance: the two by RaW are interchangeable. Not much against a full-time caster - SR 5+HD means that a caster with level equal to your ECL needs 3 or more on the CL check to penetrate it, but it's a chance. It shines at later levels against effects with fixed caster levels (traps, wands, creature abilities etc), when your PR is 20+ . Okay, you get darkvision, too. Also, I think Githzerai used to be outsiders, but that might have changed now. Still a very nice deal, even with the LA. |
| Shado03-30-07, 04:15 PM | To expand on the Dark Whisper Gnome: +1 LA for: 40' move Small size (+1 AC, +1 to-hit) +16 to Hide (before ranks or DEX bonus) +10 to Move Silent +2 Spot and Listen +4 Inherent bonus to Jump due to speed Hide in Plain Sight Ghost Sound, Message and Mage Hand once a day each(with CHA 10+) Silence centered on self once a day (Access to Extra Silence and Silencing Strike feats) +2 DEX and CON -2 STR and CHA Cold resist 10 Darkvision 90' Low-Light Vision (might even be Improved-Low Light) +4 AC vs. Giant +1 to-hit kobold and goblinoid Now... it's all about your "vision" of a Ninja... but I don't know how much more ninja this could be. |
| Harlan_Arcenciel03-30-07, 09:33 PM | Your HP won't be nice, but I recommend the Half-vampire template from Libris Mortis. |
| AMGriffin03-31-07, 11:19 AM | OH man I can't believe I didn't say this earlier, but what about a Thri-Kreen? They get... (In the Darksun campaign anyway) +2 Strength, +4 Dexterity, +2 Wisdom, -2 Intelligence, -4 Charisma Monstrous Humanoids Medium size 40 feet base land speed Darkvision Immunity to sleep +3 Natural Armor They have four limbs, which means they qualify for several badass feats Have two natural weapons, a 4 1D4 claw attacks, and a bite attack that does one 1D4 damage and can posion enemies. +30 bonus on all jump checks. Starts out with the deflect arrows feat. Poison. Their bite attack can do 1D6 damage is the enemy fails a fortitude save (11+ Con modifier). and then secondary damage being paralysis. +4 bonus on hide checks in sandy or arid areas. 2 Racial HD which give 2D8 HP, a +2 BAB, and base saves of Fort +0 Ref +3 Will +3, and one starting feat of choice. Their racial HD give them skill points equal to 5x(2+int modifier) with class skills being balance, climb, hide, jump, listen, and spot. Automatic proficiency with all simple weapons LA+1. That's pretty damn good for a ninja. |
| Darth Sephiroth03-31-07, 01:48 PM | How about a Lesser Teifling |
| Peregrine_Wolf04-01-07, 01:28 PM | Though this may be a bit old fashioned......and I also only have 1 up-to-date book, I think Elves work nicely. Immunity to sleep and +2 vs enchantment can be good is your trying to get into someplace. Also you get +2 to listen search and spot. the -2 con is a bit daunting, but if you have a high dex and wis it doesn't matter too much at low levels and almost not at all at higher levels when you get evasion. And, if you take levels in sorcerer, you can take the spells that remove an oppenents AC bonus and just start sudden striking them with your poisoned weapons =). |
| thorofasgard1304-02-07, 03:07 AM | a Githzerai with the winged, insectile, and half-fire elemental templates added. Though they have a +9 LA they have +18 to dex and +6 to wisdom plus all the special abilities, and flying with perfect maneuverability. |
| Spiritwalker04-02-07, 02:44 PM | How come nobody has mentioned the Hengeyokai? Now that they've been reduced to a +0 LA race, they get shapeshifting as a racial ability. A Cat Hengeyokai gets all the sneaky bonuses you'd need, and can turn into a tiny animal that every castle worth its salt is going to have tons of (to keep down the mice and rats) I once wrote quite a hefty book about a cat Hengeyokai Ninja....really must finish it. Might have to check out that Dark Template too. |
| zook1shoe66604-03-07, 02:47 PM | i'm surprised no one said the Tibbit from the Dragon Compendium vol. 1. they beat the socks off anything else. think of a halfling that can turn into a housecat at will with a +0 LA. i had one that had a nice +20 initiative modifier ;) |
| Quade04-03-07, 02:53 PM | Try Wererat, Werebat, or Weretiger. Any of the small or tiny races would be great for that quick AC boost. Level adjustment is too high...stay away from any level adjustment higher then +1 or else you end up gimping the character. Go with Catfolk for sure, great dex and fits with the concept. |
| malignor04-03-07, 05:24 PM | dude... Ninjas ARE a race! So are Pirates. Remember it. |
| MagicMouth04-03-07, 05:31 PM | How about an Aasimar? The +2 Wisdom is obviously nice, and +2 Charisma is useful for an infiltrator-style Ninja. +2 Listen and Spot is also good. |
| Spikes01k04-03-07, 07:09 PM | Level adjustment is too high...stay away from any level adjustment higher then +1 or else you end up gimping the character. Go with Catfolk for sure, great dex and fits with the concept. Dude, I would normally completly agree with you! but you got to try a were cheetah ninja, even if it is inflicted! It is so very awesome to combine the jumping abilities of a ninja with sprint! OMDG think about it, being able to jump as if you had a running start and sprint! |
| The_Shaman04-03-07, 07:56 PM | You know, a half-fey ninja would just, er, fly :) |
| Magitek04-04-07, 01:34 PM | Where did you get the dark template? |
| Shado04-04-07, 02:19 PM | Where did you get the dark template? Tome of Magic |
| Crimson_Concerto04-04-07, 02:38 PM | Hrm, there are better ideas out here, but I don't think Kenku (MM3) are completely aweful. They get a DEX bonus, Hide and Move Silently bonuses, and voice mimicry, which isn't great, but it makes me happy for some reason... |
| geekmasterflash04-04-07, 02:39 PM | I am a bit partial, one of my favorite characters of all time was a Half-Orc ninja. But to be fair here, the strength boost is nice. I had to fill the role of the front line fighter since our fighter went specialized in mounted archery. No one to stay and defend when your tank is running around willy nilly shooting things. The darkvision is awesome, and I wouldn't suggest playing a ninja without darkvision or blindfighting. If you have the Oriental Adventures, it is really worth it to blow a feat on Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Kusarigama. A reach weapon, that can be wielded as a double weapon allowing you to attack within 5 feet instead of at the 10 foot range, it grants you a +2 competence bonus to trips and disarms (including a +2 against said attacks). With the Half-Orcs bonus to strength you wont need to blow a feat on weapon finese. Other than that, half-orcs can qualify for Eye of Grumesh...which doesn't sound all that great until you stop and think about it. 10 levels of Ninja gets you 5d6 sudden strike, ethereal ghost steping, improved poison use, ghost strike, speed climb, great leap, trap finding, and ki dodge...basically allowing you to be a decent rogue will still an acceptable front line fighter (because the rogue can't just go "poof" in the middle of heavy melee) 5 levels of Assassin gives you 3d6 sneak attack (now you are dangerous while flanking, and this stacks with sudden strike when you can catch them flat footed) improved uncanny dodge (hot secks!), and glorious spells. 5 levels of Eye of Gruumsh, Gets you Blind-fight, a rage (nice for a character who up till now lacked for hp and had to front line fight) swing blindly (nice when you rage/death attack/sudden strike which are awesome together.) ritual scarring gives you a much needed armor bonus that wont interfere with your AC from Wis, and perhaps most importantly, blinding spittle....which if successful means unending sudden strikes in combat. |
| Optimator04-04-07, 09:14 PM | Wow, that half-orc ninja build looks pretty fun. |
| geekmasterflash04-04-07, 09:24 PM | It is, however most DMs are loath to allow evil PCs. So you would need to find a class that can replace assassin and still give 3d6 sneak attack, the class skills needed to get Eye of Gruumsh, and spells. Then you can be CN. |
| Spiritwalker04-05-07, 01:37 PM | for a non-evil Assasin, check the Character Class articles on the official website - there's your answer. Otherwise, check out some of the prestige classes in Complete Scoundrel - there's feats for Ninjas too, don't forget. Still, another choice for race is the Vanarra (sp?) from oriental adventures (3.0 edition, not the update). Climb speed and bonus to wisdom - which means +1 armour for your ninja. True, the strength penalty might get in the way, unless you take weapon finesse. Plus, add in the Gauntlet of Infinate Blades as a tool, and you'll be all set. Still, i ended up getting my Ninja a Katana anyway....and the feral Template (I know, broken as hell, but it worked so well) ended up with a Kobold Ninja / Dragon Adept sidekick as well - now that was useful. still, i also ended up nearly single handedly destabalised an entire human controlled region when i traded ninja secrets for equiptment, and ended up as a 'trusted' member of a kobold's city high council that preceeded to become very deadly with Dire Picks and invisibility. |
| Nat_2004-05-07, 04:21 PM | the All Mighty Kenku!!!!!!!!!!! |
| Masakari448804-05-07, 05:59 PM | How come nobody has mentioned the Hengeyokai? Now that they've been reduced to a +0 LA race, they get shapeshifting as a racial ability. A Cat Hengeyokai gets all the sneaky bonuses you'd need, and can turn into a tiny animal that every castle worth its salt is going to have tons of (to keep down the mice and rats) I once wrote quite a hefty book about a cat Hengeyokai Ninja....really must finish it. Might have to check out that Dark Template too. What book is Hengeyokai in? |
| Pulsecrawler04-05-07, 07:45 PM | Kobald. Ride in the backpack of your crazy wujen friend and throw stars at anything that gets close... |
| M1kh43l_P4r4d1s004-05-07, 07:50 PM | Ninjas Suck! Pirates Forever! |
| The_Shaman04-05-07, 08:21 PM | What book is Hengeyokai in? Oriental Adventures. In the Dragon 318 update, their LA was negated. I'm still pushing for Githzerain ninjas though. Is there a feat "empower psi-like ability?" btw? It's more for Psionic Fist monks, but with a few manifester levels it can be great for multiclass ninjas, too. |
| geekmasterflash04-05-07, 08:54 PM | Oriental Adventures. In the Dragon 318 update, their LA was negated. I'm still pushing for Githzerain ninjas though. Is there a feat "empower psi-like ability?" btw? It's more for Psionic Fist monks, but with a few manifester levels it can be great for multiclass ninjas, too. I will continue to push for Half-Orc, until someone can tell me a better build than Ninja/Assassin/Eye of Gruumsh |
| NeonDante04-05-07, 08:54 PM | The answer is Turtles. I would think this is obvious. |
| geekmasterflash04-05-07, 08:59 PM | The answer is Turtles. I would think this is obvious. You sir, win. *struck my realization* Oh my God, there are Turtle Hegeyokai. |
| leomunds_assistant04-05-07, 09:06 PM | How about a drow. The only drawback is the +2 La. The light blindness can be overcame by keeping most of your face covered, or working at nightime (at least with my Dm) +2 Intelligence, +2 Charisma. +2 dex -2 con Darkvision out to 120 feet. This trait replaces the high elf’s low-light vision. Spell resistance equal to 11 + class levels. +2 racial bonus on Will saves against spells and spell-like abilities. Spell-Like Abilities: Drow can use the following spell-like abilities once per day: dancing lights, darkness, faerie fire. Caster level equals the drow’s class levels. Weapon Proficiency: A drow is automatically proficient with the hand crossbow, the rapier, and the short sword. This trait replaces the high elf’s weapon proficiency. Light Blindness: Abrupt exposure to bright light (such as sunlight or a daylight spell) blinds drow for 1 round. On subsequent rounds, they are dazzled as long as they remain in the affected area. Level adjustment +2. |
| The_Shaman04-05-07, 09:29 PM | I will continue to push for Half-Orc, until someone can tell me a better build than Ninja/Assassin/Eye of Gruumsh Ninja/assassin/Eye of Gruumsh? It's okay, but I can't honestly say I'm that impressed. Ninja/cleric (or shaman, if you have OA)/shadowbane stalker can get greater invisibility with the right domain and quite a few other things (as can various ninja/mage hybrids), Ninja-invisible blade/x (I prefer master thrower here, you might disagree) can feint easily as a swift action or snipe an enemy with throwing daggers and then hide, while ninja 12/nightsong enforcer gives you good BAB, sneak attack, improved evasion and a better HD, etc. IMO the most stylish is probably the ninja leading to Daggerspell shaper. Turning into animals and then unleashing the sudden strike as the dreaded black-furred housecat of legend is where it's at ;) . If I were going for the heavy-duty death attack, I'd probably go for assassin/shadowlord using the shadowwalker template to qualify for the latter, shattered peak cultist/shadowlord if you want to pull it off without being evil. The shadowlord might not advance your SA dice, but it has the most insane spell selection I've ever seen. Talk about ALDI spellcasting... |
| geekmasterflash04-05-07, 09:37 PM | Actually, the 5 assassin levels are only there so you get some spells and become a flanking threat...and gives you the skills nessicarry to join Eye of Gruumsh. Eye of Grummsh gives you a d12, a rage, swing blindly, +1 AC from scarring..but most importantly is the blinding spittle. 10 ninja/5 assassin/5 Eye, using a kusarigama means that you can make every attack you make potentially a sudden strike/sneak attack. |
| The_Shaman04-06-07, 11:31 AM | IMO then you might be more interested in invisible blade or scarlet corsair (Stormwrack) although they are more feat intensive. As for eye of Gruumsh, you can spit twice (eventually 4 times) per day, and the ability isn't a sure-shot thing either - it involves an attack and a save, and all it takes is for the other person to rinse their eyes. It depends on how serious the rinsing is, but if you have a waterskin it might be a full-round action imo (okay, they may have to drop/sheath their weapon. It can be quite nice, but so can be greater invisibility or a similar feature. I would fear a IB/ninja no less than a EoG ninja. Feinting like mad is okay in itself, but the bleeding wound ability can be down right mean. Essentially, every sneak attack (at the price of 1d6 SA damage) carries a cumulative 1 hp/round bleeding. |
| Dean04-06-07, 07:24 PM | I am running a 7th level Halfing Ninja right now that is working out quite well. Bonusus to ninja skills, throwing weopons, shurikens with posion are working out quite well. |
| Doomed_Penguin04-06-07, 09:44 PM | Dwarf. You know why? Cause nobody sees a dwarf ninja coming. And that's the whole point of being a ninja, no? But seriously, I'd like to second the Thri-Kreen ninja. A racial +30 bonus to jump? With the ninja's class abilities, that's basically flying. Or the Blue, which is also from XPH. And both have access to psionic feats previously mentioned, namely Up the Walls. |
| Magrus04-06-07, 10:09 PM | But seriously, I'd like to second the Thri-Kreen ninja. A racial +30 bonus to jump? With the ninja's class abilities, that's basically flying. I had a +72 modifier to jump with it and I was just toying around, nothing serious. I never got to play him though. I can always use one against the DM that never let me play him when I run a game though, right? Of course I can...:evillaugh |
| malykoth04-06-07, 10:21 PM | I have three favorite ninja races...pogo stick, unicycle, and tiny shriner car. :D |
| turalisj04-07-07, 02:39 AM | If you have access to libris mortis, and are starting at level 3 or higher, it works out nicely to be a necropolitan. You have to be a caster, I think. Necropolitan's are usualy casters.... |
| Tetsubo04-07-07, 08:09 AM | Neanderthal... |
| DEMONisbest04-07-07, 09:37 AM | what about a Shade? its +4 LA but has quite a bunch of nice ninja-ish bonuses |
| AnonymousInternets04-07-07, 05:45 PM | I'd go for a Weremonkey Whisper Gnome. ;] STR -2, DEX +6, CON +2, INT +0, WIS +2, CHA -2 With 0 skill points and base ability scores of 10, you'd still have Climb +11 (take 10; use DEX mod), Balance +11, Hide +11, Move Silently +7, Spot +3, Listen +3 |

| turalisj04-07-07, 06:04 PM | Um... what? All primates are omniores. Gorrilas? Omnivore. Chimp? Omnivore. Monkey? Duuuhhhh, omnivore. You? Omnivore (unless you are a vegan). |
| malykoth04-07-07, 06:04 PM | Monkeys aren't carnivorous, omnivorous, or scavangers. they can't be were creature types. I admit, this is from Wikipedia, so it might not be 100%, but... Monkeys range in size from the Pygmy Marmoset, at 14-16 cm (5-6 inch) long (plus tail) and 120-140 g (4-5 oz) in weight, to the male Mandrill, almost 1 metre (3 ft) long and weighing 35 kg (75 lb). Some are arboreal (living in trees), some live on the savannah; diets differ among the various species but may contain any of the following: fruit, leaves, seeds, nuts, flowers, insects, spiders, eggs and small animals. |
| AnonymousInternets04-07-07, 06:05 PM | Monkies ARE omnivores, just as humans are. You've never seen a monkey eat ants off a stick on a nature show? :P |
| turalisj04-07-07, 06:17 PM | Some are arboreal (living in trees), some live on the savannah; diets differ among the various species but may contain any of the following: fruit, leaves, seeds, nuts, flowers, insects, spiders, eggs and small animals. So, what part of that doesn't mean that monkey's are omnivores? An omnivore is a creature that is a combination of a carnivore, insectarove, or herbavore. From that paragraph quoted above, they are both carnivores, insectavores, and herbavores. *waves encyclopedia around threateningly* |
| AnonymousInternets04-07-07, 06:25 PM | Omnivores eat autotrophs (plants) and heterotrophs (critters, including bugs). Monkies are omnivores. No need for a discussion guys. |

I think my current record for Jump bonus with one of them is +200ish. Whisper Gnome wins, though. Especially with the Dark template. For +1 LA, that's ridiculous. |
| Spikes01k04-07-07, 07:41 PM | I admit, this is from Wikipedia, so it might not be 100%, but... Wow yesh your right, I am wrong, I was thinking of gorillas. my bad, sorry. |
| Ashen_Child04-07-07, 10:15 PM | Personally, i've always wanted to try a Deep Gnome (not going to even try to spell their other name) ninja. True, +3 LA makes them effectively unplayable, but the bonus to dexterity, wisdom, dodge bonus, spell like abilities, SR and non-detection go a little way to compensate. Personally, i think ninja is pretty much the only class that fits that race. |
