so yeah, I'm DMing an eberron game, and in my game, theres a war going on inbetween vampires and lycanthropes, and there is a big mess with the church of the silver flame kidnapping, interegating, and holding prisoner anyone that helps either.

One of my characters is a half vampire halfelf whoes mother was an elven vampire, and father was a human.

This is a gestalt game, and she was 5 level barbarian and 2 levels of half vampire, with 3 levels of rogue... but she never used any rogue abilities even after 4 games, so I decided to allow her to change that... she got bitten by a weretiger, and was infected.

Obviously full vampires can't get lycanthropy due to undeadness, but half vampires can, as they aren't immune to fort saves.
So she now replaced her 3 rogue levels, with weretiger savage species racial levels. (I made a good progression)

so shes now level 5, 5 barbarian, 2 half vampire, 3 weretiger.

I just find it amusing that in the last game, she had gotten so much trouble just because she aura-radiates like a lycanthrope, to a vampire who has auravision. The vampire was her long lost mother... her mother freaked out and ran off. The party trapped her in a crypt using daylight (half celestial in the group) on stones, at either end of a tunnel

She as a gestalt npc, was able to cast deeper darkness on a stone, and carried it while shifting into a batswarm form which I just madeup on the spot.

I know this combo borders complete brokenness, but it has worked for our games so far, and hasn't had a problem and I just wanted to share a fun story, involving races :)

So we have a halfvampire weretiger halfelven barbarian in the party. She has a lot of fun (female player, actually... shes played other characters, but barbarian is her favorite)

Just for non-shock purposes, this group has a half celestial paladin favored soul, necropolitan warmage dreadnecromancer, giant monk sorceror, dwarven samurai artificer, and an elven scout/ranger (another female player), who basically kills anything she has shots with her bow in 1-2 shots...

The game mostly revolves around roleplay with combat whenever its forced, and last wednesday we had an 8 hour game, and we only had one combat encounter which involves 10 lycanthropes, 8 of them hiding in an illusionary wall with bows and longswords, and the players who have all played in multiple different groups said it was the best session they ever had... with the least combat, ever.

The vampire situation... kinda was combat, as there was a couple dominate attempts... but nobody took a swing at anyone, and nobody did damage to anyone... the group was trying to interegate her.

sorry about the chaotic writing style... thats just how I think

This stuff is well beyond the normal realm of dnd, but it was fun.

Anyone else have a bizaare group thats just fun to dm for?
