Also, if I'm reading the blood drain correctly, it requires a successful opposed grapple check against a pinned opponent, right? It looks very good, nice and balanced. |
| lord_xarallon06-24-07, 03:05 PM | Yeah, they seem balanced. While Looking at the vampire template I notice that Str is their higher stat, but dex gains a nice bumb too. |
| Sarlax06-24-07, 11:12 PM | Pretty good, except that "Vampiric Vulnerability" will never come up in play in a way that matters without the DM doing some annoying things. That orc horde happened to have just robbed a garlic caravan, eh? |
| ElberethSilverleaf06-24-07, 11:18 PM | How does a human have a vampiric heritage? Vampires are dead (undead) and do not reproduce, at least not in the biological sense. |
| Dragonprime06-25-07, 08:00 AM | It's the result of a pregnant woman getting attacked by a vampire and surviving. I'm aware that this creates the half-vampire template from libris mortis, but the bloodlings are the descendants of those that had attacked mothers. Over the years the amount of vampire in them has decreased due to breeding with humans. |
