| Risingdragon14501-02-08, 09:02 PM | My character has a burrow speed but the thing is I'm not sure how it works. DO i glide through the earth or dig like a motha and leave a hole behind? |
| ToastedAmphibian01-02-08, 09:19 PM | That depends. Why do you have a burrow speed? If your some kind of awakened mole, then yes, you leave a hole. If yyou happen to be a xorn (Odd choice, but extra props for shareing my sense of style) then no, you dont leave behind any kind of hole. But in the majority of cases, you leave behind a hole if your digging in a material that WOULD leave behind a hole, where you to dig in it. Rock? Yes, or mabey rubble Sand? Only a foot or so Mud? Not at all ect |
| Risingdragon14501-02-08, 11:25 PM | I have a burrow speed from my mineral warrior template. so it is racial i guess |
| Xiuhcoatl01-03-08, 08:15 AM | As per the RAW, you leave no hole behind. Burrow A creature with a burrow speed can tunnel through dirt, but not through rock unless the descriptive text says otherwise. Creatures cannot charge or run while burrowing. Most burrowing creatures do not leave behind tunnels other creatures can use (either because the material they tunnel through fills in behind them or because they do not actually dislocate any material when burrowing); see the individual creature descriptions for details. |

| ToastedAmphibian01-03-08, 08:56 PM | I have a burrow speed from my mineral warrior template. so it is racial i guess Heh, ya, i love that template. Just keep in mind that it dosnt give you any ability to , you know, tell where you are or which direction your going, or to sense anything around you. Alot of burrowing creatures have tremor sense for a reasion :D |
| Red_Wizard01-04-08, 02:29 PM | What are the rules governing suffocation and Grapple while Burrowing? I would assume Suffocations works similar to being submerged, but can one Grapple an opponent, and then burrow back underground and leave them there? -RW |
