Joseph_Silver 07-26-07, 04:51 PM	In Vampire: The Masquerade, mortals who drink vampire blood become ghouls. The Kindred use ghouls for daylight tasks, things that they can't do themselves because of sunlight. Anyway, ghouls are one step closer to vampirism. They don't age as long as they keep drinking vampire blood, and they also get minor vampiric abilities. Ghouls can be Embraced (turned into vampires), and they become indistinguishable from other vampires. I guess half-vampires would simply lose the half-vampire template and then gain the vampire template.

TheCarrionCrawler 07-30-07, 02:18 PM	Dragon Magazine came out with three half-undead creatures: half-ghoul, half-ghost and half-vampire. The half-vampire is called a Katane. When it's killed it has a percentage chance to rise as a vampire. The percentage increased per your HD. If I can find the issue #, I'll post it.
CobaltDeathWolf 07-30-07, 05:39 PM	oooo! ooo! ooooo!!!! i read somewhere that there is a template you can add to a creature, its called "katane" basically its a half-vampire, i found it at crystalkeep.com they get some vampire abilities along with a few weaknesses, and when they die, theres a small chance that they'll turn into a vampire!!!

The half-vampire would not lose the half-vampire template. The creature would have both templates; with the strengths and weaknesses of both.
