Can Changelings fly? [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-05-07, 01:54 PM Changeling can change into any humaniod, right? Are the Raptorians from Races of the Wild humaniods or monstrous humaniods?
If they're humaniods, can a Changeling transform into one and gain flight?
Also, are there any other flying humaniods?

I don't think so
I may be wrong but I believe Alter Self only makes you look like something

04-05-07, 02:47 PM No they can't.They could turn into a raptorian,and they would have wings like a raptorian,but the wings wouldn't work.Alter self essentially just gives you a +10 bonus to your disguise checks to pass as a member of that race.

That's the only quantifiable effect changelings can get out of the ability.
