07-12-07, 09:09 AM Aquatic Elves will give you a swim speed and the ability to breath underwater.

Avariel/Winged Elves will give you the ability to fly, along with some other humanoid creatures, Raptorians for example.

As for combat, it would really depend on how you fight. You might get a kick out of being Small or you might not care.
