nighttree 02-24-07, 09:36 PM	I'm looking for a template of comperable power to the Half Fiend/Half Celestial template, but for a character of Chaotic descent. I found the "Cansin" race...which is comperable to Tiefling/Aasimir.... So now I'm looking for something that would "push a cansin" up powerwise the same way Half Fiend, and Half celestial would a Tiefling/Aasimir. Anyone seen anything like that??????
Ventilatory_Threshold 02-24-07, 09:50 PM	There's the Anarchic Template, but that's sort of the counterpart of the Fiendish and Celestial templates. And it's +5 LA (thanks mostly to Fast Healing that scales and multiple energy resistances). There's Planetouched equivalent for Slaadi in MM 2: The Chaonds. Pretty decent race for LA +1.
nighttree 02-24-07, 10:30 PM	:ahem: Ya....that's all I have found so far as well...... The Chaond are OK....but the Cansin fit the character idea better. The Anarchic template LA would be OK....If the abilities "did it" for me....but they don't....:pbbbtt: O would love to incorporate the "Aura of Chaos" that allows you to re-roll on damage if you roll a 6, and add it to the damage results.......I may just have to try and create something myself.

Jaxgaret 02-25-07, 02:05 AM	It's a bit of a reach, and maybe not what you're looking for, but the Half-Fey template lets you choose what sort of creature the Fey ancestor is; and it is also "Alignment tends toward Chaotic". Plus it's not too bad for an LA +2.
nighttree 02-25-07, 10:22 AM	I have come to the conclusion that there is not really any templates that say "CHAOS" the way Half Celestial says Good, or the Half Fiend says evil. The closest I have found so far are the Anarchic template (which is just kind of so-so) and the Entropic template (which is lethal to team mates).... I guess I will have to be content with a Cansin/Warlock with the Wild Mage PrC......:plotting:
