| jacobi28906-12-07, 12:56 PM | I'm looking for a race that has a racial bonus to charisma, but with no level adjustment. Know of any? |
| JellyPooga06-12-07, 12:57 PM | Closest I know of is Catfolk or Aasimar, but they're +1 LA. |
| DrRufio06-12-07, 12:59 PM | Spellscales. they have +2 cha and -2 to something else (can't remember) and are LA0 |
| The Crimson Dawn06-12-07, 01:00 PM | I believe that spellscales from races of the dragon book get +2 cha for a -2 in con. I do not own the book so you will need somebody to confirm that. |
| Crimson_Concerto06-12-07, 01:02 PM | This question definitely hasn't been asked like 20 billion times, and using the search function isn't going to help at all. There are a couple, but the most commonly used (and not broken) are the Spellscales (Races of the Dragon), Star Elves (Unaproachable East), and Hellbred (Fiendish Codex II). All give +2 CHA, -2 CON. |
| DrRufio06-12-07, 01:11 PM | This question definitely hasn't been asked like 20 billion times, and using the search function isn't going to help at all. But the post lets you flex your DnD nuts. Why would you want to miss that chance? |
| jacobi28906-12-07, 01:13 PM | I would have used the search, but it's been disabled for as long as I can remember. When was it turned back on? And thanks for the relies so far. |
| trapspringer06-12-07, 11:24 PM | But the post lets you flex your DnD nuts. Why would you want to miss that chance? Nuts can be flexed? Awesome! |
| Crimson_Concerto06-12-07, 11:25 PM | Nuts can be flexed?Yeah, that's what I was wondering? |
| AZNsupermarket06-13-07, 12:27 PM | Here are all your choices from WOTC published material for +0 LA races that get a bonus to charisma: Star Elf: +2 Cha -2 Con, medium, 30 ft., otherworldly touch (su), extraplanar (su), bard, humanoid (elf), unapproachable east pg.10 Spellscale: +2 Cha -2 Con, medium, 30 ft., sorcerer and same as base creature, humanoid (dragonblood), races of the dragon pg.21 Hellbred (Spirit): +2 Cha -2 Con, medium, 30 ft, hellbound (su), spirit (su), paladin, humanoid (hellbred), Fiendish Codex II pg.78 Lesser Aasimar: +2 Wis +2 Cha, medium, 30 ft., light (sp), paladin, humanoid (planetouched), player’s guide to faerun pg.191 Venerable Dragonwrought Kobold: -4 Str +2 Dex -2 Con +3 Int +3 Wis +3 Cha, small, 30 ft., sorcerer, dragon (kobold, reptilian, dragonblood), monter manual pg.161 and races of the dragon pg. 39 You can also add the Dragonborn of Bahamut pseudo-template without level adjustment to any of the races with a bonus to cha (beside the venerable dragonwrought kobold) and gain +2 con -2 dex, which stacks with your original ability adjustments. That may be helpful for a lot of these. Dragonborn: +2 Con -2 Dex, same as base creature, same as base creature, fighter and the base creatures, humanoid (dragonblood, same as base creature), races of the dragon pg.5 Other than that, you can just increase your age level and suffer the physical ability score penalties. |
| Braekor Dragonfang06-13-07, 07:30 PM | I don't think it would be a stretch to give half elves a charisma bonus, they seem to be geared toward that thought, what with the skill bonuses (plus it makes them less crappy when compared to their parents) |

Did you know that you´re not allowed to give these information? |
| glacialcat06-13-07, 08:15 PM | Yes you can... you just can't give enough information to play it on your own. He didn't give nearly enough information to play any of those races. For example, I have no idea what "otherwordly touch" is, so I can't play a Star Elf. He didn't give any information on the blood quickening meditations of the Spellscales, any information on the ritual required to become a Dragonborn, what any of the Hellbred's abilities are... You can't play any of those races unless you own the book, at least not well... if anything he just posted information that'll get someone to buy a book, instead of stealing information from WotC. WotC should be thankful. |
| Nat_2006-13-07, 08:15 PM | He has posted that list(and longer ones at that) many times and i have never seen a complaint... and he posted the only ones i could think of |

Couldn't find them. |

| Kyrinthic06-15-07, 12:44 PM | In an awesome display of vagueness, the Cansin is a race from a dragon magazine that gives +2 charisma and +2 int (and a handful of other benefits), and can be used in a 'lesser' version as an optional rule from a forgotten realms book about lesser planetouched (like the lesser aaismar AZNsupermarket posted). Dont forget that lesser planetouched is an optional rule and you will need to check with your gm if its available. I played one in a campaign around a year ago, (paid the ecl for it tho), was a fun race, basically chaotic planetouched. Anyone who knows which dragon magazine the Cansin was in, or what book / page the lesser plantouched option rule is in (all I remember was it was one of the newer forgotten realms books), feel free to elaborate. -Kyrinthic |
| mkill06-15-07, 12:46 PM | Of course there is always my Allurin (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=749491) race, for those who have neither seen it nor the last "+Charisma LA0" races thread. Btw. a cloak of Charisma for a meager 4000 gp gives anyone a +2 bonus to Charisma. |
| MCage06-15-07, 02:18 PM | The Half Sayter from the Dangerous Denziens book i belive is +0 LA and has a +2 cha, i forget what its total stat adjust is |
