Shadowhowler 05-24-07, 05:16 PM	Hiya Looking for a Template that gives bonues to Con and grants some for of Regeneration. Don't want to be a Troll. Something Demon/Devil connected would be a plus. Anyone know of anything along these lines? Trying to re-create an old character, and having some trouble.
Borris 05-24-07, 05:31 PM	Are you looking specifically for regeneration, or would fast healing be enough? The latter is much easier to find than true regeneration.
AMGriffin 05-24-07, 05:45 PM	Ogre Mages have rengeration. They're pretty weak though, and you could probably chop down their LA by about 3 or 4.
YabaTheWhat 05-24-07, 07:09 PM	A changeling (MM3/Eberron) aiming for the warshaper prestige class will eventually get both a CON bonus and fast healing. It's a pretty long wait though, if you're starting at low levels. A tibbit (Dragon Compendium) can follow the same path, but only gets the benefits in cat form.

Yeah... looking for regenration. I've seen a few ways to get fast healing, most notably the Feral Template, which gives you a whole bunch of crap but most of which is exsesive and not what I need to re-create this character. It's looking grim... dosn't seem to be any regenration to be found eh?

I'm looking more for a Template that can be applied to another Race (in this case a human) rather then a race that grants the regenration itself. However... I always loved the ledgends involving Wendigo's... so I'll check this race out just for curriosity and maybe to use as a DM. :)
Borris 05-26-07, 10:42 AM	Well, wendigo is a template. It can be added to any humanoid, monstrous humanoid, giant, animal, or magical beast, and comes with a LA of +4. Alignment automatically changes to Chaotic Evil, though, so it may not fit with what you're looking for.

Shadowhowler 05-26-07, 05:47 PM	Ah... Well... it's intresting, but not what I'm looking for. It does give an idea of where a template I could create would fall in LA, by comparing it to the Wendigo... but I didn't see anything quite like what I was looking for. :( I are cold, and wet, and sad.

As I said in the first post... a bonus to con a regenration, preferably devil/demon related. In a later post I specified that I need it to be something I can add to a human. I don't want/need anything eles from it... no claws, darkvision, scent, blah blah blah... not of all the extra funk that comes with some of the templates I have seen. The character in question is sort of 'infected' by a demonic parasite... which regenrates and invigorates the character as part of it's 'symbiosis'.

I think it's a bit much. 1st level only region feat... and you become fatigued in sunlight and its only reg. 1 so not all fast and fire/cold penetrates it... great for underground, otherwise not that great unless able to ignore fatigued... Cheers Wow... you become FATIGUED in sunlight? I thought you got Light sensativity, like a Drow or something. Odd. Stiil, not what I'm looking for. :(
