| Scape_the_Great03-16-08, 08:33 PM | ive got a few ideas in mind and want to create my own races...well actually i plan on creating my own world with new races and a few new classes for gaming an writing reasons. being one who has played d&d on and off and has been engrossed in the dragonlance saga an the works of R.A Salvatore and has played countless rpgs i like the way that the D&D worlds, races an layouts of the core books are shown an catalouged. does anyone know of a website i could use to help set up the skills an stats for my races an classes? |

One thing I'll stress is to try to keep the races at LA +0. Making more powerful races tends to make them less attractive (as you lose class levels) and is harder to balance. Also, if you want a Dragonlance theme, there is already a book published. I have a friend who owns it and let me borrow it for a bit. I think it's 3rd party, but it's based on 3.5 D&D (at least I don't think it's 3.0). So, someone may have already done all the work for you. ;) Edit: Here's a link for the Dragonlance Campaign Setting (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/dlacc/869900000) on WotC's site. This may be what you want. |
