These rules are for a Campaign I want to run called "Dungeons and Dragons, Orkified!". Basically, they're 40K Orkz (and Grotz) brought into D&D. Naturally, I wanted to keep them as a LA+0 race.

Ork:
Medium Sized Humanoid
Stat Bonuses: +2 Strenth, +2 Constitution. - Orks iz dead 'ard an' made for fightin'!
Stat Reductions: -2 Dex, -2 Int, -2 Cha. - Orks ain't good wiv' da dakka, an' iz very direct in der finkin'.
Low Light Vision: Orks 'ave got good eyes fer spottin' stuff!
Natural Armour: Orks get +1 Natural Armour.
Favoured Class: Slugga Boy [Fighter].

Grot (Gretchin):
Small Sized Humanoid
Stat Bonuses: +2 Dex, +2 Intelligence - Grots are sneaky gitz wiv' thievin' li'l 'ands!
Stat Reductions: -2 Str, -2 Con - Grots are weedy li'l zoggers who can't take a kickin'!
Speed: 30ft.- Grots are really, really good at runnin' away!
Low Light vision: Grots can spot a shiny 'fing almost anywhere!
Reflex Bonus: Grots get a +2 bonus to all Reflex Saves.
Favoured Class: Sneaky Git [Rogue].

Proper "Orky" classes are to follow.

First and foremost, ALL HAIL GHAZSKULL THRAKA! Now, with that being said, nice looking stuff man. However, thumbing through the 40K fluff book at the store, I noticed that orkz are technically plant-creatures. Are you going to put any stipulations and rules regarding plant traits?

Actaully that is a bit of an odity. They are capable of photosynthesis and are born from spores BUT they do have heamaglobin based blood as well. I think some small note about food will be enough. making them plants would open a tin of worms

Also, Oooh! Lookidikit! Dashinigood! (I used to get called the 6ft grot-king by my fellow gamers In one game in a store (not a games workshop, generic store) we pooled our minnis over about two dozen of us and had a massive battle. I was one of the two orc commanders. The orc players loved grots (mostly for humerous convertion purposes) as a result all of my infantry where grots. I did more damadge in victory pionts thay any other player, culminating in MOVE="OK these 5 grots that are for some reason perfectly happy to ge 12 inches from a 5 man terminator squad, move 6 inches towards."SHOOT="All blastas fire, four hits, three wounds, two kills... LOL!"ASSUALT="Oh sod it, CHARGE!!!. Four hits, three wounds, no saves..." flawless grot victory!

Here's a description from the Lexicanum
Orks a a symbiosis of both animal and fungus at the most basic level. The Orks animal side lives in complete harmony with its fungal side and each compliment the other and come together to form a tough and resilient creature. An example of this is found when comparing an Ork to a human. It appears that the fungus allows the Ork's body to negate the use of complex internal organs, the immune system and the reproductive anatomy. The fungus therefore allows the Ork to reduce the number of potentially fatal injuries possible, further improving their survivability. The Ork's animal side however suggests a primitive pack-based omnivorous growth pattern; the Orks relying on each other to hunt for food etc. in a pack. The most interesting feature however, is the lack of any sign for any evolution or evolutionary process. This indicates that the Orks may have been created, or grown, as a result of highly advanced biological engineering. If this is true, then it is likely that the Orks represent the ultimate fighters; strong, tough, durable and aggressive with the biology to back them up.
I will write up the orcs as a separate creature from the plant and fungi and I would increase the Grots speed to 40ft cause "dem Grots run good."

Nice, but give them a insanely big to hit penalty with "shooting" weapons, and give them the brutal throw as one of their racial feats.

Q:"How do you get immune against ork shooting?"
A:" By putting a dart target on your chest and yelling "Aim at me!"

(For those who don't know, orkz are so bad at shooting, so they in averege never hit what they aim at. If it wheren't for gravity, orkz would never hit the ground when aiming at it.)

I love the flavor text in the racial traits :D Dats usin yer 'ead!

All in all, relatively balanced. I think that they'd fit in well to a D&D campaign with a WH flavor.

I'd also give the grots a +2 on all Craft checks.

"So, I tol' dis grot, 'Fix me bike 'r else I'ma chomp ya!' an' da grot fixes me bike like new."

"Where's da grot now? I needs m' bike fixesed too!'

*BURP* "Heh, I lied..."

I thinks the grots need a will penalty too.... since everything it is either bigger or better then them will cause them to wet themselves and plus the orks bully them around

as for the orks poor aim I have one thing to say......
"Dat's why we carry big shootas...DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA!!!!"

Anything about the power of the Waagh! possible?

Two guardsmen are in a ditch firing at oncoming orks. One says "Damn! Im out of ammo!" The other says "Dont worry, I ran out an hour ago, just point at them and say bang. Orks ae very psycological creatures, if they think theyre getting shot at they actually will get hurt." Sure enough, the orcs start dropping dead when the guardsmen point and yell. Suddenly, they both go flying through the air. The orc continues running past their corpses, chanting to himself "Im a tank Im a tank Im a tank"

Damior one thing to say :heehee
Question though will the Orks have a ability similar to the one in the Codex (due to me not knowing if it's Open Open Game License I won't mention the name) that allows the Orks to form into mobs
since I am on the subject What about Snotlines?

Heh, this looks good. ORKSES IZ DA BEST! Ahem, sorry.

Anyway, one contrusctive comment. Maybe the power of the WAAAGH! could look something like this:

Power of the WAAAGH! (Su): When a group of five or more orks within xft are fighting (even each other), each ork a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls for each ork fighting within xft.

Of course, this is a little rough, and probably open to abuse (though it may explain why Warbosses with Leadership hit so hard ;) ) but its a possibility.

If I can add one thing, Orks get bigger as they become more important, so maybe you could have a feat you can take that increases your size once you've taken the leadership feat.

I was thinkig more along the lines of how all their technology works: shere beleif that it does actually work. This is the reason why orks can slap together a few bits of scrap metal, add an ammo clip, and start shooting. Maybe reduce penalty for using improvised weapons to only -2 or something?

how about:
WAAAGH-If at least five orcs with combined HD equal to at least 10 are fighting within 50 ft of each other they all gain +1 on damage rolls, -1 on attack rolls, +2 on saves vs. fear, -2 on saves vs. rage (like the spell)
